Tickets To New Broadway Play The Snow Geese

Like the last play I blogged about I have no idea what this play is about. I would assume that The Snow Geese takes place in the Winter. Makes sense to me. Thankfully there is a synopsis of the show so we can all stop guessing. So without further adieu I give you the story of The Snow Geese. Hope you like it. With World War I raging abroad, newly widowed Elizabeth Gaesling (Mary-Louise Parker) gathers her family for their annual shooting party to mark the opening of hunting season in rural, upstate New York. But Elizabeth is forced to confront a new reality as her carefree eldest son comes to terms with his impending deployment overseas and her younger son discovers that the father they all revered left them deeply in debt. Together, the family must let go of the life they've always known. Tony winner Daniel Sullivan (Rabbit Hole, Proof) directs this stirring new play about a family waking up from their own personal Gilded Age as the world around them changes forever.

So was it all you'd hoped it would be and more? I do love Mary Louise Parker and Daniel Sullivan is  one of Broadway's most talented directors. How can it go wrong? Well now that you know what's is about I bet you want to know how you can get tickets right? Well my friends you have come to the right place. That's right theatre fans. We sell the show. Well that and every other show in New York. Bet you didn't know that did you? Well now you do. Get your tickets to see The Snow Geese on Broadway. Performances are set to begin at the Samuel J. Friedman Theatre on October 1 so get your tickets now. Until next time theatre fans.

Tickets To Machinal On Broadway

Let me just start off by saying I have never heard of this play. I don't even think that I can pronounce it. All I know is that Machinal is being produced by the Roundabout Theatre Company and will begin performances at the American Airlines Theatre on December 20 and will open on January 14. Now for those of you like me who know nothing about the job here is a brief description about the play from the show's website.

Inspired by the infamous 1927 murder trial of Ruth Snyder, Machinal is a gripping drama by American journalist and playwright Sophie Treadwell. It's America's Golden Age, a time of happiness, freedom and prosperity - or is it? For the Young Woman (Rebecca Hall), a stenographer in the industrial, male-dominated world of the 1920s, life is nothing like she hoped it would be.

Restless and unfulfilled in a passionless marriage and unwanted motherhood, she finds her only joy in the form of an illicit love affair. But when reality sets in and she must return to her routine existence, she'll go to any lengths to regain her freedom. A groundbreaking work in the landscape of American theatre, Machinal is a riveting look at the danger that can come from a life unlived.

Sounds good don't you think? I know I want to see it. Do you? Well if you do you have come to the right place. We sell tickets for the show. So why not give us a call? You'll be glad you did. Get your tickets to see Machinal on Broadway at the American Airlines Theatre. Who knows? You might even like it.

The Glass Menagerie Tickets On Broadway

A new revival of one of Tennessee William's greatest plays on Broadway starring two-time Tony winner Cherry Jones? I'm there. The Glass Menagerie which first premiered on Broadway in 1945 is set to begin performances at the Booth Theatre on September 5 with opening night set for September 26. The show which also stars Tony nominee Celia Keenan-Bolger, and Zachary Quinto and directed by Tony winner John Tiffany (Once) is scheduled to run thru January 5, 2014.

Now for those of you out there who have never read the play or seen the show here is a synopsis of the play from the shows website. While Amanda Wingfield desperately struggles to provide her fragile daughter with at least one "gentleman caller," her son, Tom, dreams of escaping from his job at a warehouse and his oppressive life at home. An exquisite family drama filtered through Tom's memory.

Now believe it or not but in all the years that I have lived here I have never seen a production. However I think I might have to check this one out. After all Cherry Jones is one of the most talented actors around and I do like Tennessee Williams. By the way for those of you looking to get tickets to this show you are in luck. Not only do we sell The Glass Menagerie but every show both On and Off Broadway. Get your tickets to see The Glass Menagerie. Who knows? Maybe I'll see you there. Until next time theatre fans.

Tickets To A Gentleman's Guide To Love and Murder

A Gentleman's Guide To Love and Murder? Interesting title don't you think? Oh and did I mention that it is a musical too? Didn't see that coming did you? Previews for the show are set to begin at the Walter Kerr Theatre on October 22 with opening night set for November 22. Now on to the synopsis of the show. Enjoy! When Monty Navarro, a disinherited relative of the rich and powerful D'Ysquith clan, learns he's ninth in line to inherit the earldom, he sets out to secure his future by, er, process of elimination. Each of the eight heirs perilously standing in the way of Monty's fortune are played by Tony® Award-winner Jefferson Mays, in one of the most tireless, whiplash-inducing performances ever attempted on the American stage. Based on the novel Israel Rank by Roy Horniman and set in England's elegant Edwardian era, this uproarious new musical comedy shows just how low we'll go to make it to the top. So what do you think? Sounds like something you might want to check out? Well guess what? We can get you tickets. Not only do we sell this show but every show and event in New York. Tickets To Broadway Revival Of Richard The Third and Twelth Night

A new revival of two of Shakespeare's most popular plays? Sounds like a good idea to me. Richard III and Twelth Night which recently played a sold out engagement in the West End are coming to Broadway this fall in a brand new production starring two-time Tony Award winner Mark Ryalance (Jerusalem, Boeing-Boeing). Both shows are scheduled to play a sixteen week engagement at the Belasco Theatre with Twelth Night beginning performances on October 15 and Richard III set to begin on October 19. Opening night for both is set for November 10. As of now the last performance is scheduled for February 1, 2014 but if reviews are good I would not be surprised if it extends. We shall see. Now believe it or not but in all the years that I have lived in New York I have never seen one of his plays. I guess I need to get out more. Therefore here is a synopsis of Richard III from the shows official website. Enjoy.

Direct from a sold-out run in London's West End, the critically-beloved, Shakespeare's Globe productions of Twelfth Night and Richard III come to Broadway for a 16-week limited engagement. Two of The Bard's finest plays are performed in repertory by a remarkable cast featuring two-time Tony Award® winner Mark Rylance (Jerusalem, Boeing-Boeing), Golden Globe nominee Stephen Fry (Wilde, Sherlock Holmes: A Game of Shadows) and Tony Award nominee Samuel Barnett (The History Boys). These classics are presented in the custom of how Shakespeare's plays were originally staged, with an extraordinary all-male company playing male and female roles; actors participating in the pre-show ritual of dressing and preparing their make-up on stage, in front of the audience; music played live on traditional instruments; and lighting created almost exclusively by 100 on-stage candles, adding to the intimate and authentic atmosphere.

This is delightfully funny, timeless Shakespeare at its absolute finest, and it is not to be missed! Richard Duke of Gloucester (Mark Rylance) is determined that he should wear the crown of England. He has already dispatched one king and that king's son; now all that stands in his way are two credulous brothers and two helpless nephews - the Princes in the Tower. And woe betide those - the women he wrongs; the henchmen he betrays - who dare to raise a voice against him. Monstrous, but theatrically electric, Richard is Shakespeare's most charismatic, self-delighting villain, reveling at every moment in his homicidal, hypocritical journey to absolute power.

Who knows? Maybe this will be my first Shakespeare show on Broadway. Stranger things have happened. Tickets for the show are now on sale so don't delay. Call now. Get your tickets to see Richard III on Broadway at the Belasco Theatre. Until next time Shakespeare fans.

Tickets To John Grisham's A Time To Kill

Believe it or not but I have never seen A Time To Kill. I take that back. I have seen bits and pieces of it. Just not the whole thing. Maybe I'll have to check it out before the new stage version opens on Broadway. Based on the John Grisham novel and adapted to the stage by Tony Award winner Rupert Holmes (The Mystery of Edwin Drood)A Time To Kill is set to being previews at the John Golden Theatre on September 28 with opening night scheduled for October 20.

By the way for those of you who are not familiar with the Golden Theatre it is one of Broadway's smallest venues. Kind of thought that it would play in a much larger theatre but I'm sure the producers know what they are doing. Now if you are like me and have not read the book or seen the movie here is a synopsis of the play from the shows official website.

The greatest courtroom drama of a generation is now the theatrical event of the season. Written by John Grisham and adapted for stage by Tony Award® winner Rupert Holmes, A TIME TO KILL brings you to a small, racially-divided Mississippi town, where a young black girl has just been attacked. When her father takes the law into his own hands, an ambitious white lawyer decides to take on the case with the odds stacked against them.

Dangerously intense and emotionally charged, A TIME TO KILL awaits your verdict this October when it arrives on Broadway at the John Golden Theatre. Don't miss your chance to witness this stunning adaptation of the best-selling thriller live on stage in a brand new production directed by Ethan McSweeny.

Sounds like an interesting night in the theatre don't you think? Now while tickets are not on sale yet I do expect them to go on sale soon. Make sure to check back here when they do. Get your tickets to see A Time To Kill on Broadway at the John Golden Theatre. Until next time theatre fans.

After Midnight Tickets On Broadway

Now to be honest I know nothing about this show. Thankfully they have a website that tells me all about it. After Midnight, featuring the music of Duke Ellington will begin performances at the Brooks Atkinson Theatre on October 18 with opening night scheduled for November 3. It was also recently announced that American Idol winner Fantasia Barrino is in talks to star in the show. Having received great word of mouth from her stint in The Color Purple I am sure that if cast she will be a gig draw. We shall see. Now on to the synopsis of the show.

Jazz is a state of mind. It's a structure for innovation, forward momentum and freedom. The evocative new musical After Midnight will take the sexy, smoky glamour of the original Jazz Age and catapult it into a whole new era of heart-pounding, mind-blowing entertainment for modern Broadway audiences. Refracted through a contemporary lens, After Midnight will celebrate Duke Ellington's years at the Cotton Club using his original arrangements and performed by a world-class big band of 17 musicians hand-picked by living jazz legend, Wynton Marsalis.

The timeless tunes set against a narrative of Langston Hughes poetry will provide an authentic backdrop for an array of cutting-edge performances by 25 sensational vocalists and dancers, including special guest stars, whose interpretations will shatter everything you think you know about music, nightlife and Broadway. Welcome to the new Jazz Age.

Well I'm sold. Tickets for the show are expected to go on sale in the coming weeks so check back when they do. Get your tickets to see After Midnight at the Brooks Atkinson Theatre on Broadway. Sounds like a winner to me.

Customer Story

Today's customer story comes all the way from the great state of Louisiana. Shreveport to be exact. Yesterday afternoon I received a call from one of our regular travel agents who's client was coming to New York next month and wanted to see a couple of shows while they were here. Their choices were The Book of Mormon and Pippin which just won the Tony Award for Best Musical Revival.

Now even though Mormon has been playing for over two years it is still one of Broadway's hottest selling shows. In fact it reportedly has an advance of over thirty million dollars. So anyway now that I knew what they wanted to see I needed to find out when they wanted to go and where they wanted to sit.

Since they were coming after the holiday they were hoping there might be better availability. Plus because they were going during the week the prices might be lower. For The Book of Mormon I was able to get them excellent seats in the Center Orchestra for under four hundred dollars. Now wait a minute. Isn't that a lot of money to see a show?

Yes it is. But when you compare our prices to other companies that sell tickets we are by far less than most. One show down. One to go. For Pippin I suggested the Front Mezzanine as they have now incorporated circus choreography and acrobaticsinto the show. Plus I got the tickets for less than they were expecting. Another satisfied customer. Will you be next?

Customer Story

Today's customer story comes all the way from the great state of North Carolina. Charlotte to be exact. Two days ago I received a call from a travel agent who's client was planning a trip to New York in November and wanted to see two shows while he was here. Her choices were the Radio City Christmas Spectacular and 700 Sundays starring the one and only Billy Crystal. Two excellent picks wouldn't you say? Now believe it or not but in all the years that I have never seen the Christmas Spectacular. Not that I'm sure it isn't great. Just seems like it's something you should see with that special loved on or your family. No worries. It's not like it's going anywhere right? So anyway now that I knew what they wanted to see I asked when her client wanted to go and where they would like to sit of course. Now because they were only going to be here for a couple of days she only had one day that she could see both shows. That meant if she wanted to see two shows she would have to see both on the same day. Two shows in one day? I can barely handle one show a week. When all was said and done I was able to get her excellent seats in the Center Orchestra for both shows. Another satisfied customer. Will you be next?

Today's customer story comes all the way from Loundon, Tennessee. Yesterday morning I received a call from one of our regular travel agents who's client was planning a trip to New York in September and wanted to see a couple of shows while they were here. Their choices were Disney's The Lion King and Kinky Boots which just won six 2013 Tony Awards including Best Musical of the Year. Now since it won all those awards the show has gotten very popular. Luckily because they were looking well in advance therefore I figured I should have no problem getting them tickets. Not so fast. Did I mention that they needed an aisle seat for both shows? Anyway I was able to get them very good seats for both shows and on the center aisle as well. Plus I got both sets of tickets for less than they were expecting. Another satisfied customer. Customer Story

Today's customer story comes all the way from the great state of Michigan. Plymouth to be exact. Over the weekend I received a call from a travel agent who's client was planning a trip to New York next month and wanted tickets to see The Lion King along with a car transfer from the airport to their hotel in Times Square. That's right. Besides offering tickets to all shows and events in New York we also provide car service to and from the hotel.

How many other ticket companies do you know that offer service like that? No too many my friends. So now that I knew what the client wanted to see I needed to find out when they wanted to go and where the wanted to sit. Well as it turns out they were only going to be in town for a couple of days so they only had one day they could go. Luckily is was during the week as opposed to a Saturday night where the tickets are more expensive and harder to come by as well.

Plus they needed a center aisle which of course is what everybody wants as the animals come down the two center aisles during the show. When all was said and done I was able to get them excellent seats on the center aisle about halfway from the stage. Not only that but the tickets were less than they were expecting. Another satisfied customer. Will you be next?

Hedwig and the Angry Inch To Open On Broadway Next Spring With Emmy Winner and Tony Host Neil Patrick Harris

Great news theatre fans. It was just announced today that stage and screen star Neil Patrick Harris (How I Met Your Mother) will return to the Great White Way in Hedwig and the Angry Inch. Fresh from his critically acclaimed gig as host of this year's Tony Awards Mr. Harris will play the title character in this cult favorite at a theatre to be announced next Spring. John Cameron Mitchell who starred and wrote the book for the original 1998 Off-Broadway production had this to say about the casting. "Who better to pass the wig to but the finest entertainer of his generation?" Composer Stephen Trask said, "It's like you're putting together a fantasy rock band and Paul McCartney agrees to play bass." I never got a chance to see the original production so I for one can't wait to see it. Plus Neil Patrick Harris I am sure will be brilliant as always. Until next time theatre fans.

Customer Story

Today's customer story comes all the way from Cincinnati, Ohio. This past Saturday I received a call from a travel agent who's client was planning a trip to London with her daughter next month and wanted to see two shows. Her choices were Les Miserables which has been playing in the West End for over twenty-five years and Prom 1 which to be honest I have never heard of before. Evidently it is a very well known and popular concert playing at the Royal Albert Hall. So anyway now that I knew what they wanted to see I needed to find out when they wanted to go and where they wanted to sit. Now since the concert was only playing on July 12  that left them only the next day to see Les Miz as they were flying out on Sunday morning. When all was said and done I was able to get them excellent seats for both shows and we even were able to have them personally delivered to their hotel on the day they arrived. Now Is The Best Time To Come To New York And See A Show

Coming to New York in the next few months and want to see a show? Sounds like a good idea to me. I know if I was visiting here that would be at the top of my list. Well guess what theatre fans? Right now is the best time to see a show. Now the big question of course is what to see. Let's see. There's this years big Tony winners Kinky Boots, Matilda and Pippin.

All three great choices in my opinion. But what if those shows aren't your cup of tea? Maybe long running shows like The Phantom of the Opera and Chicago are more to your liking. Or maybe you would prefer a more family orientated showNewsies or The Lion King. That's what makes Broadway so great. There truly is something for everyone. Not only that but most shows have "Insider Prices" which mean you can see some of your favorite shows at some incredible savings. Who doesn't love a bargain? I know I do. So next time you're in the Big Apple why not see a show? You will have the time of your life.

Now Is The Best Time To See Jersey Boys On Broadway

Still haven't seen Broadway's Tony Award winning Best Musical of 2006? Well guess what theatre fans? There is no better time than right now. Jersey Boys, which opened to worldwide acclaim in December 2005 remains one of Broadway's hottest selling shows. Not bad for a show that has been running for over seven and a half years. Now I'll be the first to admit that when the show first opened I avoided it like the plague. Not that I'm sure that it wasn't good. It did get great reviews after all and won a slew of Tony Awards. They just don't give those to anybody you know. The thing was it just had so much hype that I was sure to be disappointed if it wasn't half as good as everyone said it was.

Cut to two years after it opened and I finally got around to seeing it. Well color me surprised but I loved it. In fact I  would even go as far to say that it is one of the best shows that I have ever seen on the Great White Way. Who would have thought? Now as I was saying before there is no better time to see this award winning show. Not only that but at prices that can't be beat. In fact if you call right now you can get tickets to see Jersey Boys at a price that is lower than it's ever been. Be advised that while this "Special Offer" it is not good for Saturday performances and like always subject to availability. Get your tickets to see Jersey Boys on Broadway. You will love it.

See Broadway's Annie For Less This Summer.

That's right theatre fans. Everybody's favorite little redheaded orphan is back on Broadway where she belongs. Not only that but now is the best time to see this award winning musical at prices that can't be beat. Now while I enjoyed this new production I'll admit that I was not looking forward to seeing it. After all how many times can you see a production of Annie without wanting to poke your eyes out? So there I sat on a Thursday evening in October waiting for the Overture to begin wishing that I was anywhere else but in a crowded theatre. Well less than ten minutes into the show and I was hooked. What a great and unexpected night in the theatre. Now enough about my review. You came here so you can find out how to get tickets to see Annie for less. Be advised that while this "Special Offer" is good thru August 30 it is not good for Sunday matinees and like always subject to availability. Yesterday I received a call from one of our regular customers who was planning a trip to London in August and wanted to see a couple of shows while he was there. His choices were The Mousetrap and The Book of Mormon. One long running show and another that has only been running for less than four months. Care to guess which one is which? Well considering that The Mousetrap has been playing for over sixty years you can guess which one is the new one. So anyway now that I knew what they wanted to see I needed to see when they wanted to go and where they wanted to sit. Now because The Mousetrap has been playing for a long time I knew I would have no problem getting them excellent seats. Not only that but probably at a reduced rate. Sure enough I was able to get them excellent seats in the Center Orchestra and for a rate that was lower than they had seen anywhere else. One show down. One to go. Once again I was able to get great seats for The Book of Mormon and for a price that was less then even I was expecting. Another satisfied customer. Will you be next?

Customer Story

Today's customer story comes all the way from Scottsdale, Arizona. Last week I received a call from a travel agent who's client was planning a trip to New York in September and wanted to see a few shows while they were here. Which by the way is the perfect time to go as it is a slower time because the kids are back in school. So anyway know that I knew when they wanted to go I needed to find out what they wanted to see and when. Their choices were The Book of Mormon, Pippin, and The Lion King. Three very good shows and very popular as well.

Now since they were going during an off peak time I knew I would have no problem getting them good seats. Plus since they were a little flexible with the dates I was able to select which dates have the best seats. Because Pippin was the least popular of the three I told them that Saturday night would be the best for them. Sure enough I was able to get them excellent seats in the Center Front Mezzanine. One show down. Two to go. Now while The Lion King has been playing for over fifteen years it is still one of Broadway's hottest shows.

However because they went during the week the price was a little less. Not only that but the seats were better as well. Two shows down. One to go. Last but not least is The Book of Mormon. The hottest show to hit Broadway in over a decade. Once again I was able to get them excellent seats in the Center Front Mezzanine. Now were the tickets more expensive than the other two? You bet. But you get what you pay for I guess. So there you have it folks. Three great shows at great prices to boot. Another satisfied customer. Will you be next?

Kinky Boots, Matilda, and Pippin Are Big Winners At The 2013 Tony Awards

Well there you have it folks. Another Tony Awards is in the books. Who were this year's big winners and who went home empty handed? Leading the pack with six wins was Kinky Boots which incidentally also received the most nominations with thirteen. Coming in a close second was Matilda The Musical with four.

Now when this season first began most insiders expected Matilda to take Broadway's top prize. Cut to nine months and who wins the Tony for Best Musical? That's right. Kinky Boots. Now do I think that Matilda will close anytime soon? Not likely. Although a win certainly would have helped it is here to stay my friends. Now on to the rest of this year's winners. Enjoy!

Customer Story

Today's customer story comes all the way from Fort Smith, Arkansas. Yesterday afternoon I received a call from one of our regular travel agents who's client was planning a trip to New York later this month and wanted to see a show while they were here. Their choice? Why none other than Disney's The Lion King. My favorite show. NOT! For those of you read my blogs know that I am not the biggest Disney fan in the world. Although I will admit that it does have it's place. I mean let's face it without Disney most children would never experience a Broadway show. For that they should be commended. Anyway enough about how I feel about Disney. So now that I knew what they wanted to see I needed to find out when they wanted to go and where they wanted to sit.

Now for those of you that are not familiar with the show the animals come down the center aisles during the first ten minutes of the show. Therefore that is where most people want to sit. After a little research I was able to get them excellent seats in the Rear Orchestra on the aisle. Another satisfied customer. Not so fast. It turns out that not only did he need theatre tickets but needed transportation from the airport to the hotel. Let me guess. You didn't know we offered that did you? Well we do. In fact not only do we provide luxury car service from the airport to the hotel but we can even set up a meet and greet for an extra fee as well. So there you have it folks. Tickets to one of Broadway's most popular shows and your own private car. Another satisfied customer. Will you be next?

Customer Story

Today's customer story comes all the way from the Sunshine state. That's right. I am talking about Florida. Saint Petersburg to be exact. Yesterday afternoon I received a call from a travel agent who's client was planning a trip to New York next month and wanted to see two shows. His choices? Motown the Musical and Vanya and Sonia and Masha and Spike. Two great choices in my opinion. Not only that but they are two of this seasons most successful new shows. So anyway now that I knew what they wanted to see I needed to find out when they wanted to go and where they wanted to sit. Since they were flexible with their dates I suggested that they see Motown on Thursday and Vanya on Saturday for better availability. Turns out I was right as I was able to get them excellent tickets for both nights. Not only that but at a price that was lower than they had seen anywhere else. Another satisfied customer. Will you be next?

Customer Story

Today's customer story comes all the way from the great state of Oklahoma. Ardmore to be exact. Yesterday I received a call from a travel agent who's client was coming into New York in a couple of weeks and wanted to see a few shows while they were here. The shows they wanted to see were The Lion King, Newsies, and Broadway's longest running show The Phantom of the Opera. Now even though The Lion King has been playing for over fifteen years it is still one of Broadway's most popular shows. However because they were going during the week I was able to get them great seats for less than if they had gone on a Friday or Saturday night. One show down. Two to go. Because Phantom has been playing for a long time I knew that I would have no problem getting them excellent seats. I did. Plus I got them for less than our normal retail rate. One show to go. Now while Newsies has been playing for over a year it like The Lion King still sells very well. Once again I was able to get them great seats and for a price that was lower than they were expecting. So there you have it folks. Three great shows and three amazing prices to be exact. Another satisfied customer. Will you be next?

Customer Story

This week's customer story comes all the way from our nation's capitol. That's right I am talking about Washington D.C. This past Friday I received a call from a very nice lady who was calling because she had an Applause Gift Certificate and wanted to see if she could use it to see a couple of shows. Actually she wanted to see three shows and needed an aisle for each of them. Now normally that would be no problem but she happened to pick three of this season's hottest shows. Pippin, Matilda The Musical, and I'll Eat You Last starring Better Midler. Since she was flexible on what night she went to each show I was able to hunt around a little until I could find her an aisle seat for each show. When all was said and done I was able to get her an aisle seat for each show and since her gift certificate was for a large amount she didn't have to pay a lot for the remaining balance. Another satisfied customer. Will you be next?
