The River Reviews

That''s right theatre fans. Hugh Jackman is back on Broadway. The River which opened last night at the Circle in the Square Theatre marks his first return to the Great White Way in almost three years. So how did he fair? Now the truth is it doesn't really matter what the critic's think because the man could stand up there for two hours reading the phone book and people would still buy tickets. Anyway on to the reviews. Enjoy!

Seventeen Years And Counting The Lion King Still Rules Broadway

Wow! Has it really been that long since The Lion King opened on Broadway? I saw the show when it first came out and I can still remember how much it moved me. Even after all this time I can honestly say it was one of my best Broadway experiences ever. The costumes and the music is magical including my two favorite songs Hakuna Matata and The Circle of Life. I bet you are singing them right now aren't you? So whether it's your first time or your tenth there is no better time than right now to see one of Broadway's most exciting shows. Get your tickets to see The Lion King on Broadway at the Minskoff Theatre. Here's to seventeen years of great entertainment for the whole family!

Wicked On Broadway

Now in it's eleventh year on Broadway, Wicked remains one of the Great White Way's most popular shows. I saw Wicked when it first came out, and being a Wizard of Oz fanatic, I loved it. Wicked of course is based on the unlikely "friendship" of the two witches from the Land of Oz. Yes that's right. Way before Dorothy came on the scene Elphaba the Wicked Witch of the West and Glinda the Good Witch were friends. See how they drifted apart and became legends. Now while the there is no music from the original 1939 movie, the music is simply magic, including my favorite songs, "I'm Not That Girl" and "For Good". If you've already seen Wicked, treat yourself and see it again and if you haven't seen it don't miss it. Give us a call and take yourself to the Emerald City.
