Save On Tony Winning Musical Billy Elliot This Fall Thru Applause Theatre Service

Still haven't seen Billy Elliot The Musical yet? Well do I have good news for you. Right now is the perfect time to see this award winning musical. The show which won ten 2009 Tony Awards including Best Musical of the year is still one of Broadway's most popular shows. In fact the show which opened in November 2008 has continued to hit the one million mark since it began. Now believe it or not but I myself have never seen the show.

Look I'm sure it's an amazing show. I mean it didn't win all those awards for nothing. It's just the over the years my taste has changed a bit when it comes to musicals. Fifteen years ago I might have jumped to see a show like Billy Elliot. The truth is ever since Rent opened I prefer shows that with a little rawness and that aren't afraid to take some risks. Trust me. I know I am not the only one who feels that way.

Now I know you didn't come here to hear me lecture on the state of the American musical so why don't we get to the real reason for this blog. From now thru October 31, 2010 you can get tickets to see Billy Elliot on Broadway for prices that are.....wait for it.....below face value. Be advised that this "Special Offer" is not good for performances from October 8-10 and is subject to availability. Offers like these don't come around every day so call now.

Will The Addams Family Survive Without Nathan Lane

For those of you who read today's blog on last week's grosses you probably noticed that there was one show who had a major drop from the week before. That show was The Addams Family. Now as I said a lot of shows tend to drop off once the kids head back to school. No big surprise there. It happens every year. However last week Nathan Lane was on vacation and the show went down over 15% from the week before with a difference of over a half a million dollars in sales. Now I'm not saying that the show will close as soon as he leaves.

It's quite possible that if they find a worthwhile replacement the show could run for quite awhile. However for a show that got poor reviews I wonder if his departure will cause the show to have a shorter life then what most people expected. Now while I loved the show I'll admit that without Nathan Lane it might be a difficult show to sell down the line. I could be wrong. In fact I hope I am. The Addams Family is one of the few musical comedies playing on Broadway. It would be a shame if it closed just because one cast member leaves the show. We shall see. Until next time theater fans.

Customer Story

This week's customer story comes from across the river. That's right folks I am talking about the Garden State. That's New Jersey for those of you that don't know. The city? Cherry Hill. This past Saturday I received a call from one of our regular customers who was planning a last minute trip into the city and was looking for a show that would be good for the whole family.

I suggested The Addams Family which is not only one of Broadway's newer shows but also one of it's most popular. Now believe it or not but the show did not get very good reviews when it opened this past Spring. Years go there was another show that opened to mixed reviews that went on to become of Broadway's most successful shows of all time.

Maybe you've heard of it. A little show by the name of Wicked. So after taking my advice I asked her when she wanted to see it and she was hoping there were five seats available on September 1 for the matinee. Since I wanted to make sure that she got the best seats available I asked if she would be willing to split up to get better seats.

She said that would be fine as long as they were right in front of each other and in the center if possible. I told her that shouldn't be a problem and I might even be able to get the seats at a special price. Here at Applause we often have access to over twenty shows that we are able to get at "Below Face Value".

What that means is that you would get top seats at a price that is lower than you would pay at the theatre. Well she loved that. Cut to later on in the afternoon. Not only was I able to obtain seats in the center but also at a price that was lower then what I had originally quoted her. Plus I was able to give her some great restaurant suggestions to check out while she was here. Another satisfied customer. Will you be next?

Broadway Grosses

Wow! What a change a week makes. Two weeks ago there were seven shows that hit the one million mark. In fact those seven shows have been hitting that number for most of the summer. Yet as we all know when the kids head back to school ticket sales begin to drop. Case in point. Mary Poppins which has been grossing over a million dollars all Summer dropped 8.5% last week. Now looking at that you may not think that is a whole lot. However as we move into September and October you will probably see that number get higher and higher. Expect more shows to do the same in the coming weeks. Until next time theatre fans.

Calling all David Mamet fans. Or should I say fans of Patrick Stewart? Either way expect the Broadway revival of A Life In The Theater to be a big seller at the box office this season. The show which first premiered at the Goodman Theatre in Chicago in 1977 is set to begin previews at the Gerald Schoenfeld Theatre on September 21 with opening night set for October 2.

Pretty impressive don't you think? Tickets for this limited run are now on sale so don't delay. Call now.

Sister Act To Begin Previews On Broadway March 2011

Big news theatre lovers. It was just announced that Sister Act is coming to Broadway. Now while there was a previous announcement about the show back in July no official month was given as to when it would open. Well according to a recent press release the new musical is set to begin previews in March 2011 with opening night set for April 2011. Now where it will play has not been announced. My guess is the Marquis Theatre or the Palace. We shall see. As of now no cast has been announced but based on the reviews of it's leading lady Patina Renea Miller who originated the role in London I can't imagine them replacing her. Sister Act features a score by Academy Award winner Alan Menken and Glenn Slater and a book by Cheri and Bill Steinkellner.New to the creative staff is four-time Tony winner Jerry Zaks who will direct the Broadway version. Now I for one loved the movie and expect the show to be a big crowd pleaser when it opens next Spring. Until next time theatre fans.

Customer Story

This week's customer story comes all the way from the great state of California. Camarillo to be exact. Late last week I received a call from a very nice young lady who was planning a last minute trip with her daughter to New York later this month and was hoping to take in a couple of Broadway shows while they were here. I asked what she wanted to see and she mentioned that her daughter had been dying to see Billy Elliot ever since she saw it on last year's Tony Awards. I told her that not only could I get her great seats but also at a lower price as the show has been playing for almost two years now.

For those of you that are not familiar with our "Insider Deal" we here at Applause have access to over 25 shows both On and Off-Broadway at prices that are lower than you can get anywhere else. Well she loved that. After securing her tickets for Billy Elliot we moved on to her next show. She asked if I could suggest something for her and I told her that I had recently seen The Addams Family and loved the show. That was perfect as she was looking for a good musical comedy and that fit the bill. Plus once again I was able to get them at the lower price. Another satisfied customer. Will you be next?

Broadway Grosses

Yes I know. You are all waiting yesterday for me to post last week's grosses weren't you? Well starting this week I now I have Monday's off which means you will just have to wait I guess. Anyway on to the grosses. Well it looks like South Pacific went out with a bang it's final week as it hit the 100% mark. Now that's how you close a show my friends. Promises, Promises dropped below the one million mark for the first time in many weeks. I'm guessing it had something to do with it's star Kristen Chenoweth being out of the show most of the weekend. Now while Promises saw a dip the other members of the million dollar club kept on plugging along as usual.

Disney Musicals on Broadway – See the Magic of Disney Come to Life on Broadway

Don’t miss your chance to see Disney come to life on a Broadway stage. Visit Applause-Tickets.com to find out how.

Disney is even more Magical on Broadway

Can you remember being a kid and watching the same Disney movie over and over? The infectious fun of a Disney movie was hard to resist as a kid. Applause Tickets is here to tell you about the latest Disney phenomenon – Disney Musicals on Broadway. When Disney first decided to bring one of their movies to the stage, people were skeptical about its possible success. How well could a full length film translate into a stage production with a live audience? The answer blew everyone’s expectations out of the water. People absolutely LOVED seeing Disney characters brought to life before their eyes. Today, Lion King and Mary Poppins are two of New York City’s most popular shows and for good reason. These shows are family favorites. Your kids will love them and you will be thoroughly entertained.

Mary Poppins is the most similar to its movie counterpart. Since the movie featured live human actors, the translation to the stage wasn’t difficult. Pair amazing acting, multimillion dollar production value, and fabulous costumes with one of the most beloved stories of all time and a repertoire of incredibly addicting songs and you have an instant Broadway sensation. Mary Poppins is perfect for audiences of all ages. Your children will adore this show.

Disney took more creative liberties when they translated Lion King from the screen to the stage. Director and designer Julie Taymor took animated characters and turned them into sophisticated and beautiful characters on stage. Her use of puppets and incredible costumes tells the story of Simba and his Lion family in a touching and heartfelt way. This show can be slightly scary at times and probably isn’t appropriate for very small children but it’s great for older kids and Broadway theater goers of all adult ages.

Disney musicals seemed to be born for the stage. If you are thinking about planning a trip or a night out on the town in New York City, don’t miss your chance to see a Disney show on Broadway. Call Applause Tickets today to speak with a representative who will help you find the show, seats and price that’s right for you.

Disney And Broadway:A Winning Combination

Now before you think I've lost my mind I haven't. Those of you who have read my blogs in the past know I'm not a big fan of Disney being on Broadway. Therefore the very idea of me blogging about them must sound crazy right? Well to be honest although I didn't care for The Lion King I do think it has it's place.

I mean let's face it if it weren't for the folks over at Disney Theatricals most kids might not experience live theatre for the first time. For that they should be commended. Having said that I do believe that they could be a little more selective when it comes to choosing shows to produce. There is nothing that says that they have to stick to the same formula of transferring their movie musicals to the stage.

Your Disney for crying out loud. You have produced hundreds of successful movies that were not animated musicals. You would think they could come up with an original idea. Trust me. I won't lose any sleep waiting for that to happen. Regardless of what the future brings there is no doubt that Disney will continue to be a presence on the Great White Way for years to come. Not even I can control that. Until next time theatre fans.

Green Day's American Idiot Now Available At Below Face Value

Who doesn't love the music of Green Day? I know I'm a big fan. Now to be honest when it was first announced that a new musical based on American Idiot was coming to Broadway I like most people were thinking the same thing. "Have they lost their minds? That will never work". Being a composer myself I am always on the lookout for new and interesting works on Broadway. Now don't get me wrong. I like a good old fashioned Broadway musical once in awhile. Once every couple of years that is.

So anyway a few months ago I went to see American Idiot on Broadway. Now even though I like their music I had never listed to the album all the way through. I guess I'm not a big a fan as I thought. Now while I enjoyed the show as a whole I do think it has a limited appeal as far as it's audience. The show which was nominated for this year's Tony Award for Best Musical is still doing reasonably well at the box office.

Would they be doing better if they hadn't lost to Memphis? Probably. In fact before Memphis won the top prize it was struggling at the box office. Now the show is grossing almost a million dollars a week.M guess is that American Idiot will at least last until the end of the year. Until then see it why it's still here. Better yet see it at a discount. Good seats are available at some incredible prices. Call now.

Final Week For Rodgers and Hammerstein's South Pacific

That's right theatre fans. You only have eight more chances to see one of Broadway's most beloved shows of all time. I am of course talking about South Pacific. The show which will play it's final performance this Sunday won seven 2008 Tony Awards including Best Musical Revival.

When it closes it will have played a total of 37 previews and 1000 performances. Pretty impressive for a show that first premiered over fifty years ago. I have to tell you that I was not looking forward to the show when it was first announced. Oh sure I have been a fan of the show since I played Stewpot in my high school production.

Now while I generally love Lincoln Center Theater and the shows director Bartlett Sher I was a little hesitant about seeing the show. You see in the last few years most of the revivals on Broadway have been just so-so. Therefore when South Pacific was announced I was a bit hesitant about seeing it.

As turns out I shouldn't have. I have to say it was one of the most enjoyable evenings I have spent in the theatre in a long time. In fact I hate to see it go. However 2/12 years for a revival is pretty good run in my book. Don't forget that the show will air live tomorrow night on PBS. I strongly advise that you check it out if you get the chance. Revivals like these don't come around every day after all. Here's to South Pacific. What a show!

A Day In The Life Of A Ticket Broker

So here I sit at my desk on a humid Tuesday in August trying to think of something to blog about. To be honest I've run out of ideas. O.K. so maybe I'm being a little over dramatic. I guess I could always write about my favorite show In The Heights. They are getting a new cast member this week. Maybe you've heard of her? Season Six American Idol winner Miss Jordin Sparks. Or maybe I should discuss the recently announced cast for the upcoming Spider-Man:Turn Off The Dark. I think I'll wait for any further discussion about that show until I see it. Unlike some people. To be honest it is a slow news day. Heck it''s been a slow month if you ask me. Nothing really big to report right now. I'm sure once we get into September a few more shows will be announced. Until then enjoy the rest of your Summer my friends.

Customer Story

This week's customer story comes all the way from Woodside, California. Late last week I received a call from a gentleman who was surprising his wife with a trip to New York for their Anniversary next month. I asked what he wanted to see and he told me his wife's favorite show is Wicked. They had tickets for the show when it came to L.A. a few years ago but then one of their kids came down with the flu at the last minute so they ended up having to give away the tickets to their friends. Therefore he wanted to make sure this trip was extra special.

I asked him when he wanted to go and he said that since his Anniversary was on September 25th he was hoping to see the show that night. Now as most people know Saturday is the most popular night on Broadway. Not only that but Wicked is still Broadway's #1 show. Not bad for a show in it's sixth year on the Great White Way. So anyway after selecting the date I began my search for seats for that evening's performance.

After a little research I was able to find him a beautiful pair in Orchestra Row P in the center. Now I know some of you might be saying to yourself," That's too far away from the stage. Plus aren't those seats under the Mezzanine?" Sure the seats may not be 10th row center but they are a full view. Well needless to say he was thrilled with the seats and the price as well. Not only that but I was able to recommend a great restaurant that they could go to before the show. Another satisfied customer. Will you be next?

Spider-Man:Turn Off The Dark To Begin Previews In November

Well I guess pigs can fly and hell has truly frozen over. The new musical Spider-Man:Turn Off The Dark is set to begin previews at the newly named Foxwoods Theatre(formerly the Hilton)on Sunday November 14, 2010.The show which was first announced back in the Spring of 2007 was originally supposed to begin last year and then postponed until February of this year before being postponed once again until this fall. Now based on what I have heard so far it should happen.

I'll believe it when I see it. Look I want to see it as much as the next person. I for one hope it succeeds. If it does it will be good for Broadway.Maybe all these delays were meant to be. I always say,"Everything happens for a reason". Maybe I'm just a little more optimistic than most.Regardless of what the show looks like we can at least guarantee the music will be good. Who knows? I myself can't wait to see it. In fact I'm thinking about buying a ticket for the first preview. Maybe I'll see you there.Until next time theatre fans.

Customer Story

This week's customer story comes all the way from Natchez, Mississippi. Two days ago I received a call from a long time customer of mine who was planning a trip into New York for Labor Day weekend and wanted to see a show or two while he was here. His first choice was In The Heights which for those of you who read my blogs know that it is my favorite show on Broadway. After doing a little research I was able to find very nice seats for him in the Front Mezzanine in the center. Not only that but at a price that was below face value.

Well he loved that. After checking his schedule he realized that he should have time for one more show and wondered if I had any suggestions. I told him that I had recently seen the new musical Million Dollar Quartet and loved it. For those of you that are not familiar with the show it is based in the real life 1956 jam session between music legends Carl Perkins, Jerry Lee Lewis, Johnny Cash, and Elvis Presley. Once again he was sold And once again I was able to get him great seats at a great price. Another satisfied customer. Will you be next?

See Mary Poppins On Broadway For Less This Fall

Now in it's fourth magical year on Broadway is Mary Poppins. The show which first premiered in London in September 2004 continues to pack them in at the New Amsterdam Theatre eight times a week. In fact the show has continually grossed over a million dollars a week since Memorial Day weekend. Not too bad for a show that's been running for four years. Although with it being the Summer it's not to surprising as Mary Poppins is still one of the few shows on Broadway that's good for the whole family.

Now for those of you who want to see Mary Poppins but don't want to spend a fortune do I have good news for you. From now thru November 21,2010 you can see this beloved musical at prices that are lower then any other time of the year. Be advised that while this "Insider Deal" is good for all performances it is subject to availability and not good for the evening performance on October 10, 2010. Get your tickets to see Mary Poppins on Broadway. It will make you feel like a kid again.

Applause Tickets Gives Back

For Rich Gladstone and Bill Stolting, the owners of Applause Tickets, volunteering comes naturally. That’s why they jumped at the chance to help when the National Association of Ticket Brokers (NATB) began its first NATB Gives Back program two years ago. They couldn’t wait to join their fellow ticket brokers in a thoughtful and organized effort to help bring happiness and joy to those less fortunate.

The NATB Gives Back program recently teamed up with the Ronald McDonald House Charities, an organization whose philanthropic mission is to help families going through a difficult time emotionally and financially. NATB and its national members knew there couldn’t be a better way to help the Ronald McDonald House than by donating tickets that would bring joy and entertainment to hundreds and even thousands of families. Last year saw the launch of “32 for 32” – the goal being to donate 32 tickets for every preseason NFL football game in each of the 32 markets all around the country. Ticket brokers from all over the country donated $183,893.19 in tickets along with 521 volunteer hours and counting. Applause Tickets is proud to participate in what they feel is a worthy and successful endeavor.

This year, Applause Tickets is excited to volunteer their time and efforts to another worthy endeavor with the NATB Gives Back and Ronald McDonald House Charities. Applause Tickets and other members of the local Broadway community will be volunteering hours at the New York Ronald McDonald House and will also be donating tickets for this summer’s 32 for 32 program.

Whether it’s helping prepare and serve a meal or send a family to a Broadway Show during their stay in New York City or play board games at a house in Minneapolis, NATB Gives Back’s mission is to help make the lives of people staying at the local houses a little easier during their challenging times.

With great appreciation from everyone on the NATB Gives Back Charity team, Applause Tickets looks forward to speaking with anyone who would like to volunteer some time at a local Ronald McDonald House chapter location. Having you spend some time with the kids and their families will make a tremendous difference in their lives and, we can guarantee, your life as well.

See Wicked the Musical in New York with your Whole Family – Applause-Tickets.com

Wicked is the most popular show on Broadway for a reason. This show is an absolute must see! Find out why at Applause-Tickets.com.

Wicked on Broadway

Wicked is the most popular selling show on Broadway and for good reason. It is uplifting and relatable to theater goers of absolutely any age. If you are thinking about taking your family to see a show this season, the Wicked Musical in New York must be top on your list. The sets, costumes, and acting are over the top incredible but it’s the songs that bring down the house night after night. We guarantee that after hearing them once, you and your entire family won’t be able to get them out of your head for weeks – and that’s a good thing!

Everyone has heard the story of Dorothy, Toto, her shiny red shoes, her three unlikely friends, and Glinda the Good Witch. Their tale is the classic and most well known story told about the Land of Oz. Wicked tells another side – The sometimes dark but altogether incredible story of The Wicked Witch of the West and how perhaps she wasn’t so Wicked after all.

The story starts when two young girls meet as sorcery students at Shiz University. Glinda is beautiful, blonde, outgoing, and extremely popular. Elphaba is shy, misunderstood, and her skin happens to be an unfortunate shade of green. Though these two girls are very different, they eventually form an unlikely friendship. Meanwhile, in the Emerald City of Oz, the Wizard is up to no good but Elphaba seems to be the only one willing to stand up to him. As a result of her defiance, he deems her “Wicked” and she is forced into exile. In a dramatic moment, Elphaba asks Glinda to come with her but Glinda can’t bring herself to stray from her popular and comfortable existence.

Years pass and Elphaba gains quite a reputation for trouble making and earns the title “The Wicked Witch of the West”.  What most people don’t know is that her supposedly wicked acts are really an attempt to force the Wizard to stop mistreating the citizens of Oz.

Though Wicked is a story of fantasy and magic, it is truly an allegorical masterpiece. Elphaba and Glindas’ struggles to do what’s right and stand against societal standards of perfection are timeless and true. Everyone who sees this show will fall in love with these two women whose true friendship endures, despite everything.

Do not miss your chance to get Wicked tickets in New York City. Applause-Tickets has Broadway experts standing by to help you find the seats that are perfect for you, your family, and your friends. Call us today at 1-800-451-9930 or 212-307-7050.

Nine Years And Counting Mamma Mia Is Still A Winner

Let me just start off by saying that I have never seen Mamma Mia. Not the Broadway production. Not even the movie. Don't get me wrong. I like some of the music. I'm just not a fan of jukebox musicals on Broadway. Jersey Boys being the exception of course. Now regardless of what I think there is no denying the show's popularity and mainstream appeal. It is after all one of the world's best selling shows of all time. Who knew there were that many ABBA fans?

Now for those of you fans out there who want to see the show again now is the best time to do it. From now thru August 29 you can get great seats to see Mamma Mia at prices that are lower then any other time of the year. Be advised that this "Insider Deal" is subject to availability and is for select Orchestra and Front Mezzanine seats. Get your tickets to see Mamma Mia on Broadway. It is one of the world's most popular musicals after all.

Customer Story

What? Two customer stories in one week? I must have really run out of ideas right? To be honest if it weren't for our customers I wouldn't be blogging at all. I would be out of a job. Anyway today's customer story comes all the way from Chicago, Illinois. My home state to be exact. Just about an hour ago I received a Boldchat message from a customer looking for two tickets for her husband and daughter to see Wicked next weekend. For those of you that are not familiar with Boldchat it is basically like "Instant Messaging" where people can go to our website and talk to an Applause representative.

While there they can ask questions about shows and things to do and see in New York during their visit. You can even order tickets as well. Anyway I asked her when they were available and Sunday matinee was the only date they were free. I was able to find them very nice seats in the first row of the Mid Mezzanine. Now for those of you think that sounds like the "Nose Bleed" section it is not. It is a full view. No poles. Mo obstruction of any kind. Plus I was able to get them at a price that was lower than she had seen anywhere else. Another satisfied customer. Will you be next?

New Play Lombardi To Go On Sale Next Week

That's right theatre fans. Or should I say football fans. Lombardi, which is based on football legend and coach Vince Lombardi will go on sale on August 9,2010. Previews will begin at the Circle In The Square Theatre on September 21 with opening night set for October 21. The show which is based on the best selling biography When Pride Still Mattered: A Life of Vince Lombardi stars Wonder Years dad Dan Lauria as Lombardi and Who's The Boss star Judith Light as his wife Marie.

Now I personally am not a big football fan like most of my friends but I am always up for a new American play. By the way for those of you who want to see the show you have come to the right place. From now thru November 21 all seats are available at prices that can't be beat. For those of you who have never been to the Circle In The Square it is one of Broadway's smallest theatres. Not only that but the seating is in the round so all the seats are good. Get your tickets to see Lombardi on Broadway. Football season has officially begun. Until next time.

See Tony Award Winner Memphis For Less In 2010

That's right theatre fans. Last season's biggest winner is now available at prices that can't be beat. I am of course talking about Memphis. The 2010 Tony Award winner for Best Musical. Now let me start off by saying that I was not a big fan of the show like other people in my office. However there is no denying that the show is a crowd pleaser. In fact since it won the Tony this past June it has seen an increase in ticket sales. I myself have seen a major increase in calls as well.

Oh sure most of them are from people looking for discounted seats but a sale is a sale. In this economy we will take anything we can get. So for those of you who want to see the show and save a little as well now is the best time to do just that. From now thru November 21, 2010 you can obtain tickets to see Memphis at prices that are lower then any other time. Be advised that this "Insider Deal" is not good for Saturday evenings and is based on availability. Get your tickets to see Memphis The Musical on Broadway. It may not be my favorite show but it might just be yours.

In The Heights Celebrates Milestone

You didn't think I would let you go a whole three weeks without a blog about my favorite show now did you? Of course not. Now the reason for today's blog on In The Heights is for a very special occasion. Yesterday the show celebrated it's 1000th performance on Broadway. Pretty impressive don't you think?

Now I have been a big fan of the show since I first saw it in March 2008. Since then I have seen it several times and listen to the cast recording once or twice a week. Like I said, "I'm a fan." The show which first premiered Off-Broadway 2007 won the Tony Award for Best Musical along with Best Choreography, Orchestrations, and Best Score of the Year. Sounds like I show you want to run out and see right now doesn't it?

The current cast is headlined by "High School Musical" star Corbin Bleu who exits the show on August 17. Joining the cast on August 19 is American Idol winner Jordin Sparks. By the way good seats are available for all performances. In fact if you call now we can get you tickets to see this Tony winning musical at prices that are.....wait for it.....below face value. Be advised that this "Special Offer" is only good thru September 5 and excludes Saturday evenings.

Get your tickets to see In The Heights on Broadway. Maybe I'll see you there. Until next time theatre fans.

Customer Story

This week's customer story comes all the way from Longmeadow, Massachusetts.Late last week I received a call from a woman who was hoping to bring her entire family to New York in October and wanted tickets to see The Lion King while they were here. After selecting a date I asked if she preferred to sit in either the Orchestra or the Front Mezzanine.

She told me that she had heard from a friend of hers that had seen the show that the best seats were in the Orchestra as the animals come down the two center aisles during the show.I told her that while that was true it only occurs in the first 10-12 minutes of the show.

After that it doesn't really matter as you get a great view no matter where you sit. I asked her if she was bringing any children to the show as I usually suggest that the better view is in the Front Mezzanine as you are elevated and because the animals are quite large you really get the best view. She asked if the first row was available.

I told her that even if it was I advised her against it because the first row has a guard rail in front of it and if you are not tall enough it could block your view.Anyway I was able to find here seven seats together in the third row center. Not only that but a price that was lower than she had seen anywhere else. Another satisfied customer. Will you be next?

Broadway Ticket Prices Become Affordable for Most Theatergoers

For almost 34 years now, I have been advising thousands and thousands of folks about how to buy the best tickets for Broadway shows while getting reasonable prices as well. It should be noted that our ticket agency Applause-Tickets.com is a long time licensed New York Sate ticket broker. Catering to the travel agency trade that sends lots of people to New York City each year as well as consumers that buy tickets for Broadway, Applause-Tickets.com likes to brag a little about "what separates us from the competition.

According to Applause-Tickets.com co-owner Rich Gladstone, "I find it hard to believe that most consumers that purchase tickets for Broadway Shows like Wicked, Jersey Boys, Mamma Mia!, The Phantom of the Opera, Chicago and so many other popular shows often seem confused about how to get solid information and good prices for Broadway". Gladstone further goes on to say "the public doesn't really know where to turn for getting solid information on Broadway tickets, especially where to sit in the theater for the best price. In addition, Gladstone says "ticket brokers set up their websites so consumers will click on a set of tickets and buy something, which unfortunately removes the element of service".

For those folks that want service, Gladstone suggests contacting ticket brokers that go out of their way to "make it easy to call and talk about Broadway show tickets. At Applause-Tickets.com , Gladstone says "service is the only thing that keeps our company in a leadership position in the ticket selling end of the business. You can note that the very large on line ticket sellers are even talking about eliminating their "service charge". Gladstone believes anyone eliminating their service charge clearly doesn't think they are given service to the public and therefore isn't entitled to collect a service charge when selling tickets for Broadway, concerts or family events. Furthermore Mr. Gladstone believes that :the large on-line ticket services are simply disguising their prices and most likely including their service charges in the retail price consumers click on to make a purchase.

It is hard to get noticed today when you consider the hundreds of ticket companies all offering similar services. Applause-Tickets.com markets itself as a "local Broadway show ticket expert". One that is not in business for the quick sale but for the lifetime possibility of being able to service consumers and their family and friends for many years to come.

Applause-Tickets.com has a great web site that features every Broadway Show playing and accurately updates show ticket information on a daily basis. The company prides itself on offering personal service with a "price match guarantee" that can't be beat by any licensed ticket agency in the country. "Just call and ask and you'll see how excellent our ticket service really is" says Gladstone.
