Customer Story

The Lion KingThis week's customer story comes all the way from the great country of Brazil. A few days ago, I received a message from a customer who was in New York on vacation with his family, and wanted to see a show while they were here. Their choice? None other than The Lion King. Which by the way will celebrate it's twentieth anniversary on Broadway this December.

Anyway, after finding out when they wanted to go, I asked him how he had heard of us. Well as it turns out, he heard about us because he had the NY Pass. Now for those of you who are not familiar with the pass, it gives you great discounts on museums, shops, tours, as well as theatre tickets.

Which is why he called us. In the end I got them seven tickets together in the Center Mezzanine. And at a price that was lower than they had seen on another site. Another satisfied customer. Will you be next?

Customer Story

Come From AwayToday's customer story comes all the way from the great state of Maryland. Rockville to be exact. A few days ago I received a call from one of our regular customers, who was planning a trip in September, and wanted to see a couple of shows while she was here.

Her choices? Why none other then two of last season's hottest shows. Give up? I am talking of course about Come From Away and Dear Evan Hansen. Two great choices don't you think? Now she knew going in that tickets to both shows would not exactly be cheap. She was right.

However, they weren't as expensive as she, or even I thought they were going to be initially. In the end I got her great seats in the Center Front Mezzanine and for the dates she wanted. Another satisfied customer. Will you be next?

Final Week's For Broadway's On Your Feet

On Your Feet!Still haven't seen On Your Feet? Well you better hurry theatre fans because time is running out. The show, which is based on the lives of Grammy winner Gloria Estefan and her husband producer and musician Emilio Estefan, will play it's final performance at the Marquis Theatre on August 20. When it closes it will have played a total of thirty-four previews and seven hundred and forty-six performances.

Now I'll be honest, when I was invited to see the show in October 2015, I wasn't sure if I was going to like it. Well I am happy to say that I was wrong once again. What a great night in the theatre. Thankfully I wasn't the only one who thought that, since the show opened to rave reviews from critic's audiences alike. Now here we are almost two years later and the show is preparing to take it's final bow.

Now that doesn't mean you can't get tickets. In fact if you call right now, you can get tickets to see On Your Feet at prices that can't be beat. Be advised that while this "Special Offer" is good thru August 20, it is for select seats only, and as always subject to availability. Get your tickets to see On Your Feet on Broadway at the Marquis Theatre. Until next time theatre fans.

Michael Moore's The Terms Of My Surrender Now In Previews

The Terms of My SurrenderThat's right theatre fans. Everyone's favorite documentary filmmaker and author is headed to the Great White Way. Well not every one's favorite. After all our current president is not exactly a big fan. Although I have heard that Mr. Moore has set aside a seat for our current president if he would like to see the show. Somehow I don't expect he will be attending anytime soon.

The show, which is being directed by Tony winner Michael Mayer (Spring Awakening, Hedwig and the Angry Inch), will officially open at the Belasco Theatre on August 10. As of now the show is scheduled to close on October 22. Although if reviews are good I would not be surprised if it extends. Get your tickets to see Michael Moore's The Terms Of My Surrender on Broadway at the Belasco Theatre. Until next time theatre fans.

Broadway's Dear Evan Hansen Recoups

Dear Evan HansenThat's right theatre fans. One of last season's biggest hits is now officially in the black. Dear Evan Hansen, which won six 2017 Tony Awards, including Best Musical of the Year, has recouped it's entire investment of $9.5 million dollars in eight and a half months.

Not only that, but since it has opened it has continued to gross over a million dollars at the box office week after week. Now that's what I call a hit. Now I know what you're thinking. It must be impossible to get tickets right?

Well it's not. Oh sure they may be a little more expensive than other shows, but they are available. Not only that, but we sell them. And at a prices that are generally lower than you will find anywhere else. Get your tickets to see Dear Evan Hansen On Broadway at the Music Box Theatre. Until next time theatre fans.

Broadway Production Of Wicked Makes History

WickedThat's right theatre fans. One of the Great White Way's most successful shows is in the news once again. Wicked, which will celebrate it's fourteenth year on Broadway this Fall, has reached another milestone. As of July 9, the show has surpassed The Phantom of the Opera to become the second highest grossing show in Broadway history.

Since the show opened in October 2003, it has grossed over one billion dollars at the box office. So who is number one? Why none other than Disney's The Lion King, which will celebrate it's twentieth anniversary this November. Now the only question is will the Wicked Witch of the West ever topple the once and future king? I guess we'll find out. Until next time theatre fans.

Customer Story

Kinky BootsToday's customer story comes all the way from "Down Under". That's right. I am talking about Australia. Last week a mother and daughter came up to our office because they were looking for tickets to a couple of Broadway shows while they were here.

Now to be honest, most of our sales come from over the phone, or thru our website. So how did these two Aussies find themselves in my office? They had the New York Pass. What's that you say? Well I'll tell you. The New York Pass gets you discounts on tours, museums, and other events in New York, as well as theatre tickets.

Which is why they came to see me. In the end I got them great seats for both Kinky Boots and Chicago. Plus I was able to recommend some great restaurants for them to check out while they are here. Another satisfied customer. Will you be next?

Customer Story

Come From AwayToday's customer story comes all the way from the great state of California. Lafayette to be exact. A couple of days ago I received a call from a customer who was coming to New York in October and wanted to see a show while she was here. Her choice?

One of last season's most celebrated new shows. No it's not Dear Evan Hansen. Although that would be a fine choice. No she wanted to see Come From Away. Once again another fine choice. So anyway, after finding out what she wanted to see, I asked her when she wanted to go and where she wanted to sit.

Well as it turns out, there were only two places she wanted to sit. Either the first row center of the Front Mezzanine, or in the Orchestra on an aisle. Thankfully because she was looking far enough in advance, I figured I would have no problem getting the seats she wanted.

Plus because she was going to be here for a few days, she had a few more options. In the end I got her great seats right where she wanted. The first row center of the Front Mezzanine. Not only that, but it was at a price that was lower than she was expecting. Another satisfied customer. Will you be next?

Pop Star Ingrid Michaelson To Make Broadway Debut in The Great Comet

Ingrid Michaelson Live.jpgLet me just start off by saying that Natasha, Pierre, and the Great Comet of 1812 was one of my favorite shows from last season. The show, which received twelve Tony Award nominations, including Best Musical of the Year, is set to welcome a new addition to it's celebrated cast.

Ingrid Michaelson, the Staten Island born singer-songwriter, will make her Broadway debut in the role of Sonya from July 3 thru August 13. Now I'll be honest, I had to do a little research as I was not that familiar with her work.

Until I went to YouTube that is, and realized not only did I know a couple of her songs, but I actually liked them. Who would have thought? Tickets for the singer's limited engagement are now on sale. Not only that, but you can get tickets to see Ingrid Michaelson at some incredible rates.

Be advised that while this "Special Offer" is good from July 3 thru August 31, it is for select seats only, and as always subject to availability. Get your tickets to see Ingrid Michaelson on Broadway in Natasha, Pierre, and the Great Comet of 1812. Until next time theatre fans.

New Block Of Tickets For Dear Evan Hansen Now On Sale

Dear Evan HansenThat's right theatre fans. This year's big Tony winner is now on sale thru June 2018. That's a full year for those of you keeping count. Dear Evan Hansen, which won six Tony Awards, including Best Musical of the Year, is one of Broadway's hottest shows.

That doesn't mean you can't get tickets. On the contrary. It just means you might have to spend a little more than you do for other shows. Thankfully the theatre is not very big, so that means that most of the seats are pretty good. Be advised however there are some seats that are partial view.

Although to be honest you really don't miss that much. According to the box office it's less than five percent of the show. Not too bad right? Now for those of you who are looking to purchase tickets to see Dear Evan Hansen, you are in luck. We sell it.

In fact, we sell every play and musical on Broadway as well as London. Get your tickets to see Dear Evan Hansen on Broadway at the Music Box Theatre. You will love it. Until next time theatre fans.

New Musical SpongeBob SquarePants To Open On Broadway This Fall

Now I'll be the first to admit that I have never seen one episode of SpongeBob SquarePants. Look I know how popular the show is. After all the show has been on the air since 1999. Now here we are eighteen years later, and everyone's favorite sea sponge is headed to the Great White way.

The show, which premiered in June 2016 at the Oriental Theatre in Chicago, is set to begin previews at the historic Palace Theatre on November 6, 2017, with opening night scheduled for December 4. Shortly after the show opened, I posted the reviews on our website. Here they are again. Enjoy.

Chicago Sun-Times

The Chicago Tribune

The Stage Review

Pretty good I have to say. Here's hoping the New York critic's are just as positive. The new musical, which is conceived and directed by Tina Landau, features a score by Yolanda Adams, Steven Tyler and Joe Perry of Aerosmith, Sara Bareilles, Jonathan Coulton, Alexander Ebert of Edward Sharpe & The Magnetic Zeros, The Flaming Lips, John Legend, Lady Antebellum, and Cyndi Lauper.

Quite the lineup don't you think? As of now no on sale date has been announced. Stay tuned to this site for further updates. Get your tickets to see SpongeBob SquarePants on Broadway at the Palace Theatre. Until next time theatre fans.

Customer Story

WickedThis week's customer story comes all the way from the "Peach State". That's right. I am talking about the great state of Georgia. Douglasville to be exact. Last week, I received a call from a customer who was coming to New York at the end of the week, and wanted to see a show while she was here.

I asked her what she wanted to see, and her first and only choice was Wicked, as the trip was a birthday gift for her daughter who was turning eighteen. Plus Wicked was her favorite show. Quite the birthday gift don't you think? So anyway after finding out what they wanted to see, I asked her how she had heard of us?

As it turns out a friend of hers had used our service  last week and highly recommended us. In the end I was able to get her great seats in the Front Mezzanine, and at a price that was lower than she had seen on other sites. Another satisfied customer. Will you be next?
