2011 Tony Nominations

Well the 2011 Tony nominations were announced this morning and like years past there were a few surprises. Leading the pack this year is The Book of Mormon with 14 nominations including Best Musical. The show which opened to rave reviews in March is one of this season's biggest hits with tickets sales reaching over a million dollars a week at the box office. Coming in second with 12 nominations is The Scotsboro Boys which closed last year despite being a hit with critic's and audiences alike. Now on to the nominations.
