This week's customer story comes all the from Glenco, Illinois. Don't feel bad. I've never heard of it either and I lived in Illinois until I was eighteen years old. Anyway last week I received a call from a very nice lady who was planning a trip to New York for her and her husband and was hoping to take in a few shows while they were here. I asked her what she wanted to see and she was hoping to squeeze in at least four shows during her trip. Of course her first two choices were two of Broadway's hottest shows. Care to guess which one's I'm talking about?
No. It's not Wicked and Jersey Boys. Now don't get me wrong. Those two are still in the top five or six selling shows week in and week out. Give up? Why it's none other than recent Tony winners The Book of Mormon and War Horse. Let me guess. You've never heard of them right? Just kidding. So now that I knew what she wanted it was time to see if I could secure the tickets. Luckily I had both shows in stock so I was not only able to find her excellent seats for both shows but at prices that were lower than she had seen anywhere else.
Now if she had called a a week later I can guarantee that those seats would have been gone. At least for Mormon anyway. It is the hottest new show on Broadway after all. So now that the more difficult shows were out of the way it was time to find out what she wanted to see next. Thankfully her next two shows were a lot easier to get. First up was Rock of Ages. Not only is it one of my favorite shows but one of the coolest ones that I have ever seen. Since the show has been playing for a couple of years I was able to get ger excellent seats for below face value.
Three shows down. One to go. Her fourth and final show selection was Rain: A Tribute To The Beatles. Now don't get me wrong. I love the Beatles as much as the next guy. However the thought of four look a likes singing Beatles tunes for two hours didn't really excite me. Imagine my surprise when I saw the show a few months ago and really enjoyed it. Enough about me. Once again I was able to get great seats at a low price. So there you have it. Four great shows at four great prices. Another satified customer. Not so fast. Three days later she called and booked Master Class. Care to guess what she paid? That's right my friends. Below face value. One more time. Another satisfied customer Will you be next?
