Well as you all know this year's Tony nominations were announced yesterday and to say there were a few surprises would be an understatement. Now while
Once,
Newsies, and
Nice Work Of You Can Get It were expected to receive the nomination for Best Musical the fourth and final slot was up for grabs. While I enjoyed both
Ghost or Bonnie and Clyde I myself was pulling for Leap of Faith. Yes I know the reviews were not the greatest but I loved it. Well to no one elses surprise but me Leap of Faith was nominated for Best Musical of the Year. Now do I think it has a snowball's chance of winning? No I don't. Everybody knows that at the end the day it is between Newsies and Once. I guess we will find out on June 10. Now on to the rest of this year's nominations. Enjoy!
