Well if you can't guess by the title of my blog I saw Motown The Musical last night. Did I love it? You better believe I did. Do I think it's going to do well at the box office? Well considering the show did over a million dollars in tickets sales last week I would say that Motown is here to stay my friends. Going in I knew all the songs of course. Most people that see it do as well. They are classics after all. Plus based on things that I had previously read I already knew a lot about Barry Gordy too. Now is it the best thing that I have ever seen? No. Was it fun and entertaining? You bet it was. And isn't that what theatre is supposed to do after all? It was last time I checked.
