Poor Rocky. I guess his flying days are over. Sorry. I couldn't resist. Now believe it or not but I am sad to see the show go. I actually enjoyed it. Of course being a fan of the movie I knew I would probably like it. Plus it was a pretty easy sell to people who wanted something a little different and that wouldn't cost them an arm an a leg. Oh well. I guess there is always Mamma Mia and The Phantom of the Opera. I for one thought the show would have hung on at least until the end of the year but what do I know? I had predicted that Bullets Over Broadway was going to sweep the Tony Awards and it didn't even get nominated for Best Musical. Oh well. I've been wrong before and I'm sure I will be wrong again. When it closes on August 17 the show will have played a total of 216 performances. "Adrian our show is closing!" Sorry. One more for the road. Goodbye Mr. Balboa. You will be missed.
