That's right theatre fans. France's favorite heroine is headed back to the Great White Way. Saint Joan, written by Irish playwright George Bernard Shaw, will begin performances at the Samuel J. Friedman Theatre on April 3, 2018, with opening night scheduled for April 25. Set in France during the 15th century, Saint Joan will star three-time Tony nominee Condola Rashad (A Doll's House Part 2, Stick-Fly) as the mysterious country girl who's visions catapult her to elite status, causing the country's leaders to question her influence over the nation.
She soon finds herself on trial fighting for her life. Directing the new production is Tony winner Daniel Sullivan (Proof). Tickets for the show are not yet on sale.
