Customer Story

To Kill A MockingbirdToday's customer story comes all the way from the great state of Kansas. Overland Park to be exact. The day after Thanksgiving, I received a call from a gentleman who was coming to New York with his wife at the end of January, and wanted to see a show while they were here.

Now to be honest, most people that come to New York, come here to see a Broadway show. We are the theatre capitol of the world after all. Plus, most of those people come to see a musical.Well not my customer. He and his wife wanted to see a play. Not only that, but they wanted to see three plays. Now that's my kind of theatergoer.

Anyway, the shows they wanted to see were The Waverly Gallery, Network, and To Kill A Mockingbird.Three excellent choices don't you think? So now that I knew what they wanted to see and when, I needed to find out where they wanted to sit, and of course how much they wanted to spend.Well as it turns out, they wanted to sit in the center Orchestra, but not too close.

Now for both the Waverly Gallery and To Kill A Mockingbird, I got them excellent seats in the Orchestra, and on the aisle. However for Network, I suggested something a little different. For those of you that don't know, the show is offering on stage seating for this production. Now I am quite familiar with these type of seats, as I sat there for the recent revival of A View From The Bridge.

However for this particular production, it is slightly different. Yes you are on stage for the entire show. However you are not sitting on bleachers with thirty or so other people. You are instead seated at a table, and or a bar for the duration of the play. Not only that, but for those of you who purchase these "Special Seats", they come with a meal as well.

Now that's what I call a new kind of "Dinner Theatre" my friends. Oh and one more thing. Because the stage is filled with large video screens, along with several cameras, there is more than a good chance that those on stage will be seen by the audience.

Now I don't now about you, but I don't know if I would want to be enjoying a nice meal in front of a thousand plus people. But that's just me I guess. So there you have it folks. Three great plays, with excellent seats to boot. Plus they got them for a rate that was lower than they were expecting. Another satisfied customer. Will you be next?
