In The Heights Gives Back

The other day I was talking to my boss Rich Gladstone AKA The Ticket Man about how I was having trouble coming up with new blogs for the same shows week in and week out. Now those of you who read my blogs every week know how much I love In The Heights. I could write about that show every day of the week if I had too. Anyway I some very exciting news about the show that I would like to share with all of you. It was recently announced that the producers of In The Heights have teamed up with Clear Channel NY to offer a $16,000 scholarship to help one deserving individual fulfill their dream of going to college. The idea is based on Nina Rosario, a character in the show who herself is struggling to come up with the funds to return to college and finish her degree. In all the years that I have been in this business I have never heard of something like this and I think the producers and well as Clear Channel NY should be commended for this wonderful opportunity.
