See Broadway's Longest Running Show The Phantom Of The Opera For Below Face Value This Summer

The year was 1988. Ronald Reagan was still in office. At least for twelve more months anyway. The Last Emperor reigned at the Academy Awards, music superstar Roy Orbison passes away at the age of 52, and last but not least a little show called The Phantom of the Opera opens on Broadway. Who would have thought that it we would still be talking about it some twenty-three years later? Yet here we are in 2011 and the show is just as popular as it ever was. In fact just last week the show grossed over a million dollars at the box office. Pretty impressive for a show that opened over two decades ago.

Now I'm sure by now that most of you out there have already seen the show. It has been playing since 1988 after all. Why not see it again? I myself saw it again just a few months ago and it was just as good as it had been when I saw it over a decade ago. In fact I think I even enjoyed it more the second time around. How many shows can you say about that? Good seats are available for all performances. Not only that but at prices that are lower than ever before. This "Special Offer" is good thru September 3. 2011 so don't delay. Get your tickets to see The Phantom of the Opera on Broadway. You will love it.

See Broadway's Longest Running Show The Phantom of the Opera For Below Face Value

Has it really been twenty-three years since The Phantom of the Opera opened on Broadway? Technically it's twenty-three years, four months and thirteen days but who's counting. The show which first premiered in London in 1986 remains one of Broadway's most beloved shows of all time. Now while I enjoyed the show when I first saw it over eighteen years ago I never expected it would still be here after all these years. Yet here we are in 2011 and the show is just as popular as it was when it opened in 1988. In this day and age most shows are lucky to last a year or two if their lucky. Therefore twenty-three years is a major accomplishment don't you think? Now for those of you who still haven't seen the show I have some great news. From now thru September 3 you can get tickets to see this Tony winning musical for prices that can't be beat. Get your tickets to see The Phantom of the Opera. You will love it.

See The Phantom of the Opera On Broadway This Summer For Less

Still haven't seen The Phantom of the Opera yet? I mean come on it's not like it hasn't been playing at theatres around the world for over twenty-three years now.My first exposure to the show was in high school when I heard the cast recording for the first time. Growing up in the Midwest the only theatre I was exposed to were either the shows that I was in or from seeing shows at the local community theatre. From the opening number I was hooked. I had never heard anything like that in my life.

I swear I must have listened to that recording every day during my junior year. Looking back on it now I would have to say that while it does have some beautiful songs it is not quite the masterpiece I made it out to be when I was younger. Having seen over a hundred different musicals over the years I would probably not rank Phantom as high as what it once was. Now that doesn't mean I didn't like it when I saw it all those years ago. It's just that my tastes have changed over the years.

Now enough about me and my thoughts on the show. You came here to find out how to get inexpensive tickets for the show. So let's get right to it. From now thru July 3 you can get tickets to see The Phantom of the Opera on Broadway for......wait for it......below face value. Sounds good doesn't it?Please note that this offer is not good for Saturday matinee or evening performances and is subject to availability. Get your tickets to see The Phantom of the Opera. It is Broadway's longest running show after all.
