This week's customer story comes all the way from the Sunshine State. That's right. I'm talking about the great state of Florida. Palm Beach Garden to be exact. This past Friday I received a call from from a very nice lady who called looking for tickets to see a couple of shows while she was here during the month of May. I asked her what she wanted to see and she told me that she was interested in The House of Blue Leaves and The People in the Picture. I told her that while both were new shows I should be able to get her excellent seats and also at a great price as well. Since both had not officially opened yet I told her that availability for both should be pretty good. Not only that but since both theatre's were on the smaller side viewing would be no problem either.
So now that I knew what she wanted to see it was time to find out when she wanted to go and where she wanted to sit. Having been in both theatre's several times I suggested the Front Mezzanine for both shows. Now while I was able to get her center Front Mezzanine for The People in the Picture there were only side seats available for The House of Blue Leaves. I know what you're thinking. Can you even see anything from side Mezzanine? Yes you can. In fact if I had to choose between side Orchestra and side Mezzanine I always choose the latter. For one thing you are usually closer to the stage plus being upstairs you are elevated. See? I told you they were better didn't I? Plus I was able to sell her both shows for below face value. Another satisfied customer. Will you be next?

Final Week's For Broadway's Driving Miss Daisy
That's right theatre fans. You've got less than five weeks to see one of this season's biggest hits. Driving Miss Daisy which opened on October 25 to rave reviews from critics and audiences alike will play it's final performance at the John Golden Theatre on April 9. Starring Tony winners James Earl Jones,Vanessa Redgrave, and Boyd Gaines, Driving Miss Daisy is one show you don't want to miss. I mean let's face it. When are you ever going to see talent's like that on the same stage again? Oh in about a month from now when the revival of The House of Blue Leaves with Ben Stiller, Jennifer Jason Leigh, and Edie Falco opens. All kidding aside there is nothing better than sitting in a theatre watching some of theatre's finest actor's working at their craft.
Having lived here for almost twenty years I have seen hundreds of stars of stage and screen strut their stuff on a Broadway stage. From everyone to Julie Roberts to Denzel Washington there is nothing like seeing a star on Broadway. Even better when their actually good. One of my first Broadway shows was seeing Gene Hackman,Richard Dreyfuss, and Glenn Close in Death and the Maiden. Now that's a cast my friends. By the way good seats are still available for Driving Miss Daisy. Not only that but at prices that can't be beat. Get your tickets to see Driving Miss Daisy. Oh and don't forget previews for The House of Blue Leaves begin on April 4. Live theatre. There is nothing like it. Until next time theatre fans.
