In The Heights, winner of the 2008 Tony Award for Best Musical tells the story of three days in the life of Washington Heights, a tight knit community at the top of Manhattan. This has to be one of my favorite shows of the past decade. Not only have I seen it it over 5 times but I listen to it at least once or twice a week. It is that good. Besides being very uplifting In The Heights features some of the most innovative choreography ever seen On or Off-Broadway. Not to mention fantastic performances from top to bottom.
