Today's customer story comes all the way from the great state of Virginia. Front Royal to be exact. Yesterday afternoon I received a call from a travel agent who's client was planning a last minute trip to Las Vegas and wanted to see a show while they were there. Let me guess. You didn't know we sold tickets for Las Vegas did you? Well we do. In fact we sell tickets for every show and event there as well as every city Nationwide as well as all over Europe. How many other companies do you know that do that? Not too many my friends.
So anyway now that I knew where he would be I needed to find out what he wanted to see. Well as it turns out he wanted to see Cirque du Soleil:Mystere. Believe it or not but I have never seen one of their shows. Not my cup of tea I guess. Now since the show was only two days away they knew that getting good seats might be difficult. Luckily for them I have access to the Nationwide Ticket Board which means that I can see tickets from other brokers anywhere in the country.
When all was said and done I was able to get them some excellent seats in the center not to far from the stage. Plus I was able to email the tickets to the client which means they wouldn't have to wait in line at the box office. Well they loved that. Not only that but I was also able to get their tickets for less than they had sen anywhere else. Another satisfied customer. Will you be next?

Customer Story
Todays' customer story comes all the way from the great state of Texas. Ft. Worth to be exact. This past Saturday I received a call from one of our regular customers who was planning their annual trip to New York and wanted tickets to one of this season's hottest new shows. I am of course talking about Matilda The Musical. Which if you haven't seen it yet I highly recommend that you do. It is a must see.
So anyway now that I knew what she wanted to see I needed to find out when they wanted to go and where they wanted to sit. Now even though they picked a weekday performance they knew that getting seven tickets together in the Orchestra might be difficult. Therefore they were willing to split up to get the best seats. Now because I was getting these tickets from another source it was difficult finding an odd number of tickets.
Luckily they were able to find an extra person so we were able to get them tickets for the show. In the end I got them four tickets together and the other four tickets back to back. Plus I was able to get them for a lower price than they were expecting. Another satisfied customer. Will you be next?

Customer Story
Today's customer story comes all the way from the Lone Star State. That's right. I am of course talking about the great state of Texas. Longview to be exact. This past Tuesday I got a call from a travel agent who's client was planning a trip to New York in July and wanted to see two shows while they were here. Their choices were Wicked and The Lion King. Which even after all these years are still two of the most popular shows on Broadway. So anyway now that I knew what they wanted to see I need to find out when they wanted to go and where they wanted to sit. Since they were a little flexible with their dates I suggested that if they go during the week that not only would the tickets be better but the prices as well. After a little research I was able to find them excellent seats in the Center for both shows and at a price that was lower than they had seen anywhere else. Another satisfied customer. Will you be next?

Customer Story
Today's customer story comes all the way from the Garden State. That's right. I am talking about the great state of New Jersey. Egg Harbor Township to be exact. Earlier this week I received a call from a travel agent who was planning a trip to London next month and wanted to see a show. Their choice? Why none other the hottest show to hit the boards in years. Give up? Why it's none other than The Book of Mormon. Let me guess. You didn't know it was playing in London did you? Not only is it playing but it is selling out just like the New York production. Although surprisingly the tickets for this production are not as expensive as the Broadway version. Who would have thought? Now in order to get the best seats I advised the customer that it might be better to split up. They agreed and when I was said and done I was able to get them excellent seats in the Center Orchestra. Not only that but because they were for her she I gave her the travel agent discount. So there you have it folks. Great seats and at a great price to boot. Another satisfied customer. Will you be next?

Tickets To Merrily We Roll Along In London
Heading over to London in the next few weeks and want to see a show? Well guess what theatre fans? Not only do we here at Applause sell every show and event in New York but London as well. Who knew. Just in case you didn't know London is home to some of the most exciting and innovative shows on either side of the pond. Now comes word that a revival of Stephen Sondheim's Merrily We Roll Along is now playing in "Merry Old England".
The show which first premiered in 1981 began previews last night at the Harold Pinter Theatre where it is scheduled to play thru July 27. Now while the show was a flop when it played on the Great White Way it is reached cult status since then with productions playing all over the world since it first opened over thirty years ago. Who would have thought? Now for those of you who would like to know more about Merrily We Roll Along I have included a synopsis of the show from the musical's website. Enjoy!
Set over three decades in the entertainment business Merrily We Roll Along charts the turbulent relationship between three friends Franklin, Charley and Mary. Starting in 1980 and travelling backwards in time, this powerful and moving story features some of Sondheim's most beautiful songs including Good Thing Going, Not a Day Goes By and Old Friends.
Following a sell-out run at the Menier Chocolate Factory, the stunning musical revival of Merrily We Roll Along by Stephen Sondheim and George Furth embarks on an exclusive 12 week season at the Harold Pinter theatre from 23 April. This 'dazzling' (D Telegraph) five star hit has been thrilling audiences with its 'electrically alive' (Independent) performances. Winner of the 2012 Critics' Circle Best Musical award, this show is a must-see production.
Who knows? Maybe this time around it will be a hit. Stranger things have happened. Now for those of you looking to purchase tickets to see Merrily We Roll Along or any show in London you are in luck my friends. We sell them all. How many other companies do you know that do that? Get your tickets to see Merrily We Roll Along at the Harold Pinter Theatre in London. Good seats are now available so call now.

Pearl Harbor, 1941, where the girls sing "don'cha like Hawaii", the men of G Company sing the blues, and where even on an army base, love and desire are never very far away. Believe it or not but in all the years that I have lived in New York I have never seen a play by William Shakespeare. Now while I'm sure that I could give you a synopsis of the show the truth is we all know the story. Tickets To First Date On Broadway
Let me just start off by saying that I know nothing about First Date. The show that is not what first date means. Trust me. I know all about those. Anyway for those of you who came here to get information about the show you have come to the right place. Here is a brief description about First Date from the shows website.
FIRST DATE is Broadway's new musical comedy about the most dangerous human endeavor in existence, the dreaded blind date. When tightly wound Aaron is set up with cool girl Casey, a quick drink turns into a hilarious dinner served with sides of Google background checks, fake emergency phone calls, a slew of bad boy and uptown girl exes, and some seriously saucy chemistry. Set in a jaded city full of missed connections, their unpredictable evening unfolds in real time. Can this mismatched pair turn what could be a dining disaster into something special before the check arrives, or end up at another table for one?
Let me guess? You didn't know it was a musical did you? I guess the fact that they are promoting it as Broadway's new musical comedy should have clued us in. Oh well. Previews for First Date are set to begin at the Longacre Theatre on July 9 with opening set for August 4. Get your tickets to see First Date on Broadway. Tickets are now on sale so don't delay.

Betrayal Tickets On Broadway
A new revival of Harold Pinter's Betrayal starring real-life married couple Daniel Craig and Rachel Weisz on Broadway? Sounds good to me. Betrayal, which first premired in London in 1978 at the National Theatre is set to return to Broadway this fall at the Ethel Barrymore Theatre. First previews is October 1 with opening night scheduled for November 3 At this time the show is set to run thru January 5, 2014. Although if reviews are good I would not be surprised if the show extends.
Now while I may not be the biggest Pinter fan in the world I did see the 2000 revival starring Tony winner Liev Screiber, Academy Award winner Juliette Binoche and Mad Men star John Slattery. It was quiet good from what I can remember. Now for those of you that are not familiar with Betrayal here is a brief synopsis about the play from the show's official website. Enjoy!
Written in 1978 and told using reverse chronology, Betrayal follows the love triangle of Emma (Rachel Weisz), who is married to Robert (Daniel Craig), but has been carrying on a long-term love affair with Jerry (Rafe Spall), Robert's best friend. The work won the 1979 Olivier Award for Best New Play and the New York Drama Critics Circle Award for Best Play (foreign).

Customer Story
Today's customer story comes all the way from the great state of Colorado. Centennial to be exact. Yesterday I received a call from a travel agent who's client was planning a trip to New York next month and wanted tickets to see Motown The Musical. Which despite its mixed reviews has over twenty-six million dollars in advance sales. Take that critic's. So anyway know that I knew what they wanted to see I needed to find out when they wanted to go and where they wanted to sit. Because the show is selling very well they knew that getting seats might be difficult not to mention very expensive. True. However not as difficult as I thought. When all was said and done I was able to get them seats in Row R of the Orchestra. Were the seats in the center? No. They were on the far side. Were they a full view? Of course they were. Plus I was able to get them for a rate that was lower than they were expecting. Another satisfied customer. Will you be next?

Applause Theatre Service And Tickets To Matilda The Musical
Looking for tickets to see Broadway's newest hit show? Well have you come to the right place my friends. Matilda The Musical which opened to rave reviews on April 11 is without a doubt one of the best shows that I have seen in years. Now to be honest when the show was first announced last year I unlike most was not looking forward to seeing it. The truth is that shows based on movies or books are not my cup of tea. Oh well. You can't please everyone I guess.
Having said that I really enjoyed the show. Now while it took me a little while to get into it I was loving it by the time the curtain closed on Act One. In fact I would probably put the show in my top ten or twenty shows that I have seen on Broadway. It is a must see. Which brings me to the reason for today's blog. That's right. We have tickets to Matilda. Not only on Broadway but London too. Let me guess? You didn't know it was still playing there did you?
In fact not only is it still there but it remains on of London's top selling shows. Now as I mentioned for those of you looking to get tickets to the show you have come to the right place. Good seats are now available for all performances thru April 14, 2014. Not only that but when you call Applause you know that not only are you getting the best seats but also at the best prices. So why not give us a try? You'll be glad you did. Get your tickets to see Matilda The Musical on Broadway. You will love it. I know I did.

Customer Story
Today's customer story comes all the way from the Lone Star State. That's right. I am talking about the great state of Texas. Austin to be exact. Yesterday afternoon I got a call from a travel agent who's client was planning a trip to New York in July and wanted to see a few shows while they were here. Their choices were Wicked, Matilda, and The Book of Mormon. Three very popular but very different shows. Now while everyone waned to see Matilda only four wanted to see Wicked while the other two decided to see The Book of Mormon. So anyway now that I knew what they wanted to see I needed to find out where the wanted to sit and how much they wanted to spend.
Now they knew going in that of the three shows The Book of Mormon would be the most expensive. They were right. However in the end I was able to get the first row of the Orchestra on the aisle. Pretty good seats don't you think? One show down. Two to go. Just like with Mormon I was able to get them excellent seats in the Center Orchestra. Now was it the first row? No. It was the eight row. But trust me. You don't want to sit too close anyway. The set is huge. Two shows down. One to go. Last but not least is Wicked. Care to guess where they ended up sitting? That's right theatre fans. Center Orchestra. So there you have it. Three great shows and terrific seats to boot. Another satisfied customer. Will you be next?

Customer Story
This week's customer story comes all the way from the great state of Ohio. Dayton to be exact. Two days ago I received a call from one of our regular travel agents who's client was planning a trip to New York in June and wanted to see a couple of shows while they were here. Their choices were Once and Motown. Two shows that I happen to love. So anyway now that I knew what they wanted to see I needed to find out when they would be here and how much they wanted to spend. Having just seen Motown the week before I suggested that the better seats are in the Front Mezzanine since I saw it in the Rear Orchestra. Not that it was a bad view but having seen other shows in that theatre I can tell you that the Mezzanine has the better view. Thankfully they agreed with me and I was able to get them some excellent seats in the Center Mezzanine. One show down. One to go. Now for Once I actually prefer the Orchestra. The closer the better actually. In case you don't know the show actually takes place in a bar so when you sit up front you actually feel like you are there. In fact they even let people come up on stage before the show and during intermission to drink with the cast. How cool is that? Plus I got them seats in the third row center. Not only that but I got both shows at a rate that was less than they were expecting. Another satisfied customer. Will you be next?

Customer Story
Today's customer story comes all the way from the great state of Florida. This past Saturday I received a call from a travel agent who was planning a trip to New York in May and wanted to see a few shows while they were here. Their choices were The Book of Mormon, Newsies, and Nice Work If You Can Get It. Three great choices but of course very different. So anyway now that I knew what she wanted to see I needed to find out when they wanted to go and where they wanted to sit. Now they knew that of the three shows that The Book of Mormon would be the most expensive. They were right. However it wasn't expensive as they thought since we had seats in our inventory. By the way in case you didn't know we have some of the lowest prices for that show then any other company in the country. One show down. Two to go. Because the other two shows had been playing for almost a year I was able to get them excellent seats in the Center Front Mezzanine. Plus because the tickets were for them they got them at the travel agent discount. Another satisfied customer. Will you be next?
