Let me just start off by saying that I know nothing about First Date. The show that is not what first date means. Trust me. I know all about those. Anyway for those of you who came here to get information about the show you have come to the right place. Here is a brief description about First Date from the shows website.
FIRST DATE is Broadway's new musical comedy about the most dangerous human endeavor in existence, the dreaded blind date. When tightly wound Aaron is set up with cool girl Casey, a quick drink turns into a hilarious dinner served with sides of Google background checks, fake emergency phone calls, a slew of bad boy and uptown girl exes, and some seriously saucy chemistry. Set in a jaded city full of missed connections, their unpredictable evening unfolds in real time. Can this mismatched pair turn what could be a dining disaster into something special before the check arrives, or end up at another table for one?
Let me guess? You didn't know it was a musical did you? I guess the fact that they are promoting it as Broadway's new musical comedy should have clued us in. Oh well. Previews for First Date are set to begin at the Longacre Theatre on July 9 with opening set for August 4. Get your tickets to see First Date on Broadway. Tickets are now on sale so don't delay.
