Gettin' The Band Back Together, is set to begin previews at the Belasco Theatre on July 19, with opening night scheduled for August 13.So what's the show all about? What's that you say? The title alone doesn't give you a clue? O.K. O.K. I'll tell you.New Jersey born Mitch Papadopolous, who once dreamt about being the next Bon Jovi, has traded in his guitar strings for a more secure and stable lifestyle. Then disaster strikes on his fortieth birthday when his life is turned upside down. He loses his job, and even worse has to move back to New Jersey with his....Mom. Oh but wait. It gets worse. Soon his childhood home is on the brink of foreclosure.
So what does he do now? You guessed it. Get the band back together. Now I don't know about you, so this sounds like it could be a lot of fun.
