New York City Opera To Begin Tonight

Calling all opera fans. Tonight will mark the official start of the 2009-2010 New York City Opera season. Included in this season's offerings are such classics as Don Giovanni and Madame Butterfly. It's funny but in all the years that I have lived in New York I have never been to an opera. I had always wanted to see La Boheme because it was based on my favorite show of all time Rent. Considering it plays here every year I figure I'll eventually get around to seeing it.
