Winner of 7 2008 Tony Awards is Rodgers and Hammerstein's South Pacific. I had the pleasure of seeing this marvelous revival right before it opened to rave reviews. Most people when asked if they've seen seen South Pacific will say,"Oh I saw the original production 50 years ago." "Or I saw a production of it in my hometown or school." Let me just say that when it comes to this production there are no comparisons. If you haven't seen I say go before it is too late. And if you've seen it already then see it again.
