A Day In The Life Of A Ticket Broker

So here I sit at my desk on a somewhat muggy and overcast Sunday in September trying to figure out something to blog about. Now as most people know September tends to be a rather lackluster month here in the big city. The kids are back in school and most shows see a dip in sales at least until the middle of October or even later for some. Of course before you know it November will be here and performances will begin for this year's Radio City Christmas Spectacular.

Followed of course by Thanksgiving and the Christmas Tree lighting at Rockefeller Center and finally Christmas and New Year's. Then we get to start all over again. Here's to 2014!Yes I know that is still over four months away. It's funny but before I moved to New York time always seemed to go slow. Of course growing up in the Midwest everything is slow. That's probably why I was in such a hurry to move here.

Cut to almost twenty-two years later and I'm now wishing life moved a little slower. Boy do I sound old or what? The fact is we are all going to get old eventually. Might as well embrace and enjoy it. Well I guess I did find something to write about. Sure it wasn't about the theatre but it least it was meaningful. Sure maybe but not to you but that's o.k. too. Until next time theatre fans.
