American Psycho The Musical Comes to Broadway

On March 24, 2016 American Psycho The Musical will begin preview performances at the Schoenfeld Theater on West 45th Street in New York City with an opening night scheduled for April 20, 2016.

The story takes place in the 1980's and tells us about Patrick Bateman, an extremely good looking, successful businessman who pursues his wildest dreams late at night.  And these dreams are far from the usual ones that most people have, thats for sure.

After a sold-out run in London that began in 2013, I can easily say I'm personally looking forward to seeing this show and its tremendously talented cast  The novel was originally written by Bret Easton Ellis in 1991 and made into a film in 2000 which starred Christian Bale.

The Book of American Psycho The Musical was written by Roberto Aguirre-Sacasa (Glee), with Music and Lyrics by Tony and Grammy Award-winner Duncan Sheik (Spring Awakening) and Direction by Robert Goold (King Charles III).

The cast has several talented actors which include Benjamin Walker (Bloody Bloody Andrew Jackson), Alice Ripley (Tony Award-winner for Next to Normal), one of my favorite all-time shows, Helene Yorke (Bullets over Broadway), Jennifer Damiano (Next to Normal) and Drew Moerlein, who is making his Broadway debut in the show.

Critics from The Evening Standard, The Telegraph, The Guardian, The Daily Mirror and The New York Times have all said very positive things about the show.  I'm not sure if the show has undergone any changes since the London production but intend on seeing a preview of the show as soon as it starts playing on March 24th.

If you're interested in purchasing discount American Psycho The Musical tickets during its run on Broadway, we'd love for you to call our excellent team at Applause-Tickets 24/7 for assistance.  We'll offer you seats in every seating and price category and at considerably reduced prices.  We expect this offer may "go away" after the critics write their reviews on April 20th.  If the reviewers say great things about the show as we expect, the show will "sell out" every performance right after opening night.  And then the prices will most likely be raised.

I hope this blog post was helpful to you and that you'll consider using Applause-Tickets.com whenever your plans include going to see a Broadway, London or just about any show you may want to attend.

Cheers to all you theater lovers out there.
