Well it looks like the Broadway production of Cats has finally used up all of it's nine lives hasn't it? Just kidding. The show, which opened at the Neil Simon Theatre in July 2016, will play it's final performance on December 30. When it closes it will have played a total of sixteen previews, and five hundred and ninety-three performances.
Now for those of you who want to see the show, but can't make it to the Big Apple, you are in luck. Why you ask? Because the show is set to launch it's national tour in January 2018 at the Providence Performing Arts Center in Providence, Rhode Island.
Not only that, but we will be selling tickets for it along with the Broadway production of course. Get your tickets to see Cats on Broadway at the Winter Garden Theatre and next year at a city near you. Until next time theatre fans.

Pop Star Ingrid Michaelson To Make Broadway Debut in The Great Comet
Let me just start off by saying that Natasha, Pierre, and the Great Comet of 1812 was one of my favorite shows from last season. The show, which received twelve Tony Award nominations, including Best Musical of the Year, is set to welcome a new addition to it's celebrated cast.
Ingrid Michaelson, the Staten Island born singer-songwriter, will make her Broadway debut in the role of Sonya from July 3 thru August 13. Now I'll be honest, I had to do a little research as I was not that familiar with her work.
Until I went to YouTube that is, and realized not only did I know a couple of her songs, but I actually liked them. Who would have thought? Tickets for the singer's limited engagement are now on sale. Not only that, but you can get tickets to see Ingrid Michaelson at some incredible rates.
Be advised that while this "Special Offer" is good from July 3 thru August 31, it is for select seats only, and as always subject to availability. Get your tickets to see Ingrid Michaelson on Broadway in Natasha, Pierre, and the Great Comet of 1812. Until next time theatre fans.

New Block Of Tickets For Dear Evan Hansen Now On Sale
That's right theatre fans. This year's big Tony winner is now on sale thru June 2018. That's a full year for those of you keeping count. Dear Evan Hansen, which won six Tony Awards, including Best Musical of the Year, is one of Broadway's hottest shows.
That doesn't mean you can't get tickets. On the contrary. It just means you might have to spend a little more than you do for other shows. Thankfully the theatre is not very big, so that means that most of the seats are pretty good. Be advised however there are some seats that are partial view.
Although to be honest you really don't miss that much. According to the box office it's less than five percent of the show. Not too bad right? Now for those of you who are looking to purchase tickets to see Dear Evan Hansen, you are in luck. We sell it.
In fact, we sell every play and musical on Broadway as well as London. Get your tickets to see Dear Evan Hansen on Broadway at the Music Box Theatre. You will love it. Until next time theatre fans.

New Musical SpongeBob SquarePants To Open On Broadway This Fall
Now I'll be the first to admit that I have never seen one episode of SpongeBob SquarePants. Look I know how popular the show is. After all the show has been on the air since 1999. Now here we are eighteen years later, and everyone's favorite sea sponge is headed to the Great White way.
The show, which premiered in June 2016 at the Oriental Theatre in Chicago, is set to begin previews at the historic Palace Theatre on November 6, 2017, with opening night scheduled for December 4. Shortly after the show opened, I posted the reviews on our website. Here they are again. Enjoy.
Chicago Sun-Times
The Chicago Tribune
The Stage Review
Pretty good I have to say. Here's hoping the New York critic's are just as positive. The new musical, which is conceived and directed by Tina Landau, features a score by Yolanda Adams, Steven Tyler and Joe Perry of Aerosmith, Sara Bareilles, Jonathan Coulton, Alexander Ebert of Edward Sharpe & The Magnetic Zeros, The Flaming Lips, John Legend, Lady Antebellum, and Cyndi Lauper.
Quite the lineup don't you think? As of now no on sale date has been announced. Stay tuned to this site for further updates. Get your tickets to see SpongeBob SquarePants on Broadway at the Palace Theatre. Until next time theatre fans.

What To See In The West End
Before I start, I just want to offer my condolences to London and it's amazing people. Tragedies like these are hard to understand. All we can do is find a way to come together and continue to remain strong during these sad times. Now I personally have never been to London. Although truth be told, it has been a dream of mine for as long as I can remember.
Here's hoping I get the chance to go very soon. Now for those of you that are heading to London in the next few months, I have some exciting news. We sell tickets to every show. The only question you have to ask is what to see why you are there? As we speak there are over eighty plays and musicals playing in London. Here are a just a few of the shows you might want to check out during your stay.
42nd Street- Based on the 1933 Busby Berkeley movie, 42nd Street is now playing at the Drury Lane Theatre where it is scheduled to play thru February 2018. Featuring a score that includes such classic songs like, "We're In The Money", "Lullaby of Broadway", "Shuffle Off To Buffalo", and it's title song, 42nd Street is one show you don't want to miss.
Dreamgirls-Has it really been thirty-five years since Dreamgirls took the theatre world by a storm? Time sure does fly. Now here we are all these years later and the show is just as exciting as it was back in 1982. The show, which stars television and Dancing With the Stars winner Amber Riley (Glee), opened to rave reviews when it opened at the Savoy Theatre last November. Directed and choreographed by Tony winner Casey Nicholaw (The Book of Mormon, Aladdin), Dreamgirls tells the story of the Dreams, three female singers from the mean streets of Detroit, who's meteoric rise soon brings them fame and fortune.
The Simon and Garfunkel Story- What's that you say? Another jukebox musical headed to the stage? What will they think of next? Now I don't know about you, but this show sounds like one that I want to see. I mean who doesn't love Simon and Garfunkel? Featuring such amazing tunes like, "Bridge Over Troubles Waters', "Mrs. Robinson", Sound of Silence", and "Homeward Bound", The Simon and Garfunkel Story is set to begin previews at the Lyric Theatre on September 4. I smell a hit!
Young Frankenstein- You've seen the movie. Now see the show. Based on the classic Mel Brook's film, Young Frankenstein is one of the most enjoyable shows that I have ever seen. The show, which is being directed and choreographed by five-time Tony winner Susan Stroman (The Producers, Contact), is set to begin performances at the Garrick Theatre on September 28. As of now the show is only on sale thru February 10, 2018. Here's hoping the show is well received.
Quiet the lineup don't you think? Oh and don't forget that we sell all of them. Not only that, but Applause is open seven days a week. 365 days a year. That means we are always here to help with all of your ticket needs. Until next time theatre fans.

On Your Feet To Close
Sad news theatre fans. One of Broadway's most exciting shows is preparing to take it's final bow. On Your Feet, which is based on the lives of Grammy winner Gloria Estefan and her husband producer and musician Emilio Estefan, will play it's final performance at the Marquis Theatre on August 20. When it closes it will have played a total of thirty-four previews and seven hundred and forty-six performances.
Now I'll be honest, when they first announced that they were making a musical about the talented duo, I wasn't sure how it was going to do. Don't get me wrong. I love her music. It's just that over the years most jukebox musicals have either been very successful like Jersey Boys and Beautiful, or big flops like Ring of Fire or Come Fly Away.
Therefore there was no guarantee that On Your Feet would be a hit. Cut to a few weeks later, and the show opened to rave reviews from critics and audiences alike. Now while the Broadway production may be closing, the show will not be gone for long. Beginning this Fall, the show will begin a thirty-one city national tour.
There are also plans to open the show in Spain, Italy, Germany, France, Mexico, and Japan. By the way, for those of you who still want to see the show you are in luck. We sell it. In fact you can now get tickets to see the show at prices that can't be beat. Be advised that while this "Special Offer" is good thru August 20, it is for select seats only, and as always subject to availability. Get your tickets to see On Your Feet on Broadway at the Marquis Theatre. Until next time theatre fans.
