Sad news theatre fans. One of last season's most celebrated shows is taking it's final bow this Fall. SpongeBob SquarePants: The Broadway Musical, will play it's final performance at the Palace Theatre on September 16.The show, which is based on the animated Nickelodeon television series, will have played a total of twenty-nine previews, and three hundred and twenty-seven regular performances at the time of it's closing.
It was also announced, that the show is set to launch a North American national tour in the Fall of 2019. Here's hoping the show does better on the road.
