2019 Tony Award Nominations

It gives me great pleasure to say that this years Tony Award Nominations are official as of early this morning.  Leading the pack with the most nominations are two new musicals, Ain't Too Proud and Hadestown with 12 and 14 nominations respectively. In the play category, To Kill A Mockingbird starring Jeff Daniels and The Ferryman each received 9 nominations.

The Tony Award winners for 2019 will be telecast live on CBS on Sunday June 9, 2019.  It's going to be an interesting year for sure so stay tuned to the Applause-Tickets blog as we will have more information on the 2019 Tony Awards and this season's new show offerings in the days ahead.
