That's right theater fans. Broadway is back, and bigger and better than ever. Yesterday, the Broadway League announced that for the 2018-2019 season, Broadway grossed a total of $1.83 billion dollars, beating last years record breaking season of $1.7 billion.Not only that, but Harry Potter and the Cursed Child, which won the 2018 Tony Award for Best Play of the Year, made $105,057,544, making it the first non-musical to gross over a hundred million dollars in a single season.
