Frankie and Johnny in The Claire de Lune Reviews

That's right theatre fans. The 2019-2020 Broadway season has officially begun, with the opening of Terrence McNally's Frankie and Johnny in the Claire de Lune. The show, which first premiered Off-Broadway in 1987, stars six-time Tony Award winner Audra McDonald, and two-time Academy Award nominee Michael Shannon. Back in 2002, I had the pleasure of seeing the last Broadway revival that starred Emmy Award winner's Edie Falco and Stanley Tucci. That production was nominated for Best Revival of the Year. Will lighting strike twice? We shall see. Now on to the reviews.
