It's Thursday night, November 29,2007, and it is a little after 8pm. Every Broadway show is performing tonight live in New York City. The 19 day long Stagehands union strike is finally over. Our lives as ticket agents are getting back to normal.
Having been a licensed ticket seller for Broadway, Off Broadway and family event shows like the Radio City Christmas Spectacular for over 30 years now, I can say I have never experienced a time this long when the shows weren't playing. I walked through the theatre district tonight and saw the Broadway neon lights brighter than ever, not to mention the fantastic "electricity like feeling" throughout the cool night air.
Broadway is back. If you want to feel the excitement too, need some information or a description of a top Broadway or Off Broadway show you've been thinking about catching one day-give us a call at 212-307-7050 or at 1-800-451-9930. There's no pressure to buy anything. We'd like to get to know you, hopefully let us open an account for you, maybe put you on the mailing list so we can keep you informed on what's happening on Broadway in New York City.
If you prefer to go online, you can meet our people too. Simply go to http://www.applause-tickets.com/ .
If you need some theatre tickets in New York, we'd love to hear from you. Take care now.
