B'Way Expects Strike Breakthrough / Must End Soon!
by Erik SwansonI have every reason to believe this strike will all end by the end of this weekend or Monday at the latest and that Broadway will be back up and running just in time for the upcoming Holiday weekend. They have to, THEY MUST! There is too much at stake here and too much lost already to have this utterly ridiculous strike continue.
Broken hearts for Broadway first timers both young and old, a new season of the most incredible plays in recent memory with the very real chance of not getting to see an opening night. I’m outraged by the whole situation and just hope we can all recover from this quickly and people will not be completely turned off from returning to NY soon to see a show.
Broadway when right, is an amazing experience and that’s why I’ve been in the business for some 20 plus years. Disney, who may or may not have been a big part of this whole strike in the first place, is now set to be our saviors. Stay tuned!
Wherever you bought your tickets, for strike cancelled performances, you are entitled to a refund. If you need any guidance feel free to call Applause - The Broadway experts at 212-307-7050 or 1-800-451-9930.
