What time is it? It's Howdy Doody Time. Just seeing if you were playing attention. No it's time to take a look at last week's grosses. Now as you all know this past Sunday was the Tony Awards which usually means most shows will see an increase during that week. Let's take a look.

Well the good news is that Jersey Boys is back in the million dollar club once again along with Billy Elliot,The Addams Family,The Lion King,Wicked,Fences and Promises,Promises.Shows showing an increase last week were Tony nominees American Idiot,Fela, and Tony winners Red and Memphis.

Now usually we see a few shows post a closing notice after the awards. As of now shows like Next Fall and Million Dollar Quartet that are struggling at the box office are still expected to hang on a least thru the summer. We shall see. Until next time theatre fans.
