Al Pacino in a new play on Broadway by David Mamet? Count me in theatre fans. China Doll, which is scheduled to begin previews at the Gerald Schoenfeld Theatre on October 21, will open on November 19, and play a limited run thru January 31. Now just in case you didn't know, China Doll is a brand new play about a wealthy man (Pacino), his young and beautiful fiancee, and an airplane. That is one crazy triangle my friends.
Oh and did I mention it's a two person play? Wait a minute. Aren't I forgetting the fiancée? You would think so but you would be wrong. We actually never see the so called love of his life. That's why it's a two person play. So now does it make sense? Tickets are now on sale so don't miss your chance to see what is sure to be one interesting night in the theatre. Get your tickets to see China Doll starring Al Pacino on Broadway. I can't wait. Until next time theatre fans.

See Broadway's Wicked For Less This Fall
What's that you say? An "Insider Price" for one of Broadway's most popular show's? I know. I thought the same thing too when I heard about it, but it's true. That's right theatre fans. It is now possible to see one of the Great White Way's most beloved show s for prices that are lower than ever.
Be advised that while this "Special Offer" is good thru November 22 it is for Rear Orchestra only and as always subject to availability. Get your tickets to see Wicked on Broadway at the Gershwin Theatre. It is one show you don't want to miss. Until next time theatre fans.

Spring Awakening Reviews
Well the reviews are in and as expected they are pretty good I have to say. Spring Awakening, which opened last night at the Brooks Atkinson Theatre, is back on the Great White Way for the first time since it's award winning run ended in January 2009. Now when it was first announced that is was coming back, I like most thought it was too soon. Well I am happy to say that I was wrong. Here's hoping this new production is just as successful.
As of now the show is only scheduled to run thru January 24, but with reviews like these I think they might want to consider extending it's run. The only problem is that they will have to move to another theatre as the show Waitress has already booked the Brooks Atkinson. By the way for those of you who want tickets to see the show you are in luck. We sell it. In fact we sell every show both on and Off Broadway. Now on to the reviews.

Irish Dance Sensation Michael Flatley To Make Broadway Debut This Fall
That's right. Michael Flatley is coming to the Great White Way. Now I know what you're thinking. Riverdance right? No. It's actually a brand new show called Lord Of the Dance: Dangerous Games. I know. I know. Didn't he also have a show called Lord of the Dance? Yes he did. In fact, various versions of the show ran throughout the world from 1996-2001. This new version will begin previews at the Lyric Theatre on November 7 and continue thru January 3. Opening night is scheduled for November 10.
It was also announced that Mr. Flatley, who will also serve us the show's director, will make an appearance at the end of each evening performance, except for the evenings of November 18,19 and December 4 and 5. Oh and one more thing. He will not be doing matinee's as well. I wish I had that schedule. Tickets for the show are not yet on sale, but be guaranteed that when they do, we will be selling them.
Check back here in a few weeks for more details. Get your tickets to see Michael Flatley in Lord of the Dance: Dangerous Games on Broadway at the Lyric Theatre. Oh and just in case you need another reason to see the show, this will mark Mr. Flatley's final production as a performer. Until next time dance fans.

Full Cast Announced For Upcoming Broadway Production Of School Of Rock
I can't tell you how excited I am to see this show. Not only is School of Rock one of my favorite movies, but Andrew Lloyd Webber is one of my favorite composers. I know. I know. He hasn't had a hit in over two decades. So sue me. I happen to think his music is pretty catchy. Besides isn't that what music is supposed to be? I think so. Previews for the show are set to begin at the Winter Garden Theatre on November 9, with opening night scheduled for December 6.
Now you might recall that theatre had a little show that opened in the 80's and ran for over seventeen years. Ring any bells? Ding. Ding. It was Cat's, which was also written by the one and only Sir Andrew Lloyd Webber. Let's hope this new production is just as successful. Fingers crossed. So anyway, back to the reason for today's blog. Who's starring in it? Well for starter's the show is being headlined by Alex Brightman in the lead role of Dewey Finn.
Oh and just in case you are wondering, he is not I repeat not related to Mr. Webber's ex-wife Sarah Brightman. He made that perfectly clear at the show's workshop this past Summer when he stated that "It is wonderful to be able to confirm that not only is Alex Brightman going to be playing on Broadway, that I have absolutely no intention of marrying him. But I can't speak for him of course." Isn't he a hoot? Rounding out the cast are Sierra Boggess as school principal Rosalie Mullins will be Spencer Moses as Ned, Mamie Parris as Patty, Evie Dolan as Katie, Carly Gendell as Marcy, Ethan Khusidman as Mason, Bobbi MacKenzie as Tomika, Dante Melucci as Freddy, Brandon Niederauer as Zack, Luca Padovan as Billy, Jared Parker as Lawrence, and Isabella Russo as Summer.
Sounds like a great cast don't you think? So now that you know who's in it, I'm guessing you want to know how to get tickets right? Well thankfully we sell them. Not only that but if you call right now you can get tickets to see the show at some incredible prices. Be advised that while this "Insider Price" is good thru January 17 it is not valid from November 26 thru November 30, and as always subject to availability. Get your tickets to see School of Rock on Broadway at the Winter Garden Theatre. Who knows? Maybe I'll see you there. Until next time theatre fans.

Ten Years And Counting And Jersey Boys Is Still A Must See
Can you believe that it has been almost ten years since Jersey Boys opened on the Great White Way? Where has the time gone? It seems like only yesterday that the show was first announced, and here we are in 2015 and the show is just as popular as ever. Now to be honest when the show first opened I wasn't sure how it would do.
Trust me. I wasn't the only one. I mean for every Mamma Mia and Beautiful, there is an All Shook Up or Ring of Fire. Luckily we were all wrong as Jersey Boys went on to become one of the most successful shows in Broadway history. By the way for those of you who still haven't seen the show you are in luck.
We sell it. In fact if you call right now, you can get tickets to see this award winning show at prices that are lower than ever. Be advised that while this "Special Offer" is good thru November 22 it is for select seats and as always subject to availability. Get your tickets to see Jersey Boys on Broadway at the August Wilson Theatre. Until next time theatre fans.

New Musical Shuffle Along Is Now On Sale
Let me just start off by saying how excited I am about this show. Not only does it star Tony winners Audra McDonald, Brian Stokes Mitchell, and Billy Porter, but it is being directed by George C. Wolfe, and choreographed by Savion Glover. That is a lot of big time talent my friends. So now that you know who's in the show I'm guessing you probably are wondering how you can get tickets to see it right?
Well do I have great news for you. We sell it. In fact we sell tickets to every new show set to open this season. Oh and just in case you are wondering there are twenty-six shows scheduled to open between now and next April. Now only three of those shows are new musicals. I guess Hamilton scared everybody away huh? But enough about those other shows.
You came here to find out how to get ticket's to see Shuffle Along. Like I said tickets are now on sale. Not only that, but the Music Box is one of the smallest theatre's on Broadway. How many theatre's can you say that about? Actually you can say that about most of them. Previews are set to begin on March 14, 2016 with opening night scheduled for April 21. Get your tickets to see Shuffle Along on Broadway at the Music Box Theatre. I can't wait.

Tony Winner A Gentleman's Guide To Love And Murder To Close In January
Sad news theatre fans. One of Broadway's most acclaimed show's is taking it's final bow in a few months. A Gentleman's Guide To Love and Murder , the 2014 Tony Award winner for Best Musical of the Year, will play it's final performance on January 17, 2016. When it closes it will have played a total of thirty previews and nine hundred and five performances. Not too bad for a show that no one expected to last more than a few months. Now here we are almost two years later and the show is still selling very well eight times a week at the Walter Kerr Theatre. Makes you wonder why it's closing right? Oh well. Nothing last's forever. By the way for those of you who still haven't seen the show, you are in luck. We sell it. Not only that but if you call right now you can get tickets to see this award winning musical at prices that can't be beat. Return Engagment Of Elf The Musical Is Now On Sale
That's right theatre fans. Everybody's favorite elf is returning to the New York stage for the first time in almost three years. Elf The Musical, which is based on the hit 2003 film of the same name, will play a limited engagement at the Theatre at Madison Square Garden beginning on December 9 thru December 27.
Now I loved the movie, so when it was first announced a few years back that they were making a musical about it, I thought it was a brilliant idea. Thankfully I wasn't the only one, as the show broke box office record's, and returned for another successful engagement the following year.
Tickets for this year's production are now on sale. Not only that but if you call right now you can get tickets to see this beloved musical at prices that can't be beat. Broadway Revival Of Spring Awakening Is Now In Previews
Let me just start off by saying how excited I am about this show. Seeing the original production of Spring Awakening was a highlight of mine. Hard to believe that was almost nine years ago. Now here we are in 2015 and the show is set to return in a way no one though possible.
So what makes this new production different from it's Tony Award winning predecessor? Well to begin with over half of the actor's are hearing impaired. In fact it's being produced by Deaf West Theatre Company, which if you recall had a hit twelve years ago with their Tony nominated production of Big River.
Now I love Big River. But not even I was prepared for the emotion and passion that production portrayed on that stage. It truly was a night in the theatre that I will never forget. Here's hoping Spring Awakening is a hit too.
Be advised that the show is only playing for a limited engagement. That means you only have until January 9, 2016 to see what is sure to be one of this season's highlight's. Get your tickets to see Spring Awakening on Broadway at the Brooks Atkinson Theatre. You will love it.

Broadway Posts Thanksgiving Schedule
That's right theatre fans. Thanksgiving is almost here. Yes I know it's still technically eleven weeks away, but trust me. It will be here before you know it. Now for those of you that are planning to visit are fair city in November, you are in luck. Why you ask? Because they have just published the full show schedule for the whole week. Normally that doesn't come out until a couple of week's before.
I guess they decided it might be a good idea to do it a little earlier this year. Makes sense to me. Plus it allows people to plan what to see. Oh and one more thing. We sell tickets to every one of those shows. All the Off-Broadway ones too. Who knew? So go see a show this Thanksgiving. Your holiday's won't be the same without it.

Broadway Bound The SpongeBob Musical To Open In Chicago Next Summer
Really? A Broadway musical based on a beloved cartoon? That's never happened. Just kidding of course. It was just announced today, that everyone's favorite sea sponge is making his Broadway debut next year, following a limited engagement at Chicago's Oriental Theatre.
The SpongeBob Musical will begin performances on June 7, 2016 and run thru July 3. Now to be honest I have never seen the show. Although I do have plenty of nieces and nephews as well as my little brother who loves the show.
How it will transfer to the stage is anyone's guess. Of course people thought the same thing about Beauty and the Beast and The Lion King, and we all know how that turned out now don't we? It was also announced today that the show will feature music from some of the music scene's biggest and brightest stars. They are Steven Tyler and Joe Perry of Aerosmith, Cyndi Lauper, They Might Be Giants, Jonathan Coulton, Dirty Projectors, The Flaming Lips, John Legend, Lady Antebellum, Panic!, At The Disco, Plain White T's, and T.I., and David Bowie.
Some lineup wouldn't you say? Kind of makes me want to see it. Or at least buy the Cast Recording when it's released. By the way for those of you who will be in Chicago next Summer and want to see the show you have come to the right place. We sell it. In fact we will also be selling tickets for the Broadway production as well. When it goes on sale of course. Make sure to check back here for future updates. Until next time theatre fans.
