Exciting news theatre fans. This season's biggest hit is now on sale thru November 2019. To Kill A Mockingbird, which is based on the Harper Lee book of the same name, opened at the historic Shubert Theatre on December 13.Adapted by Academy and Emmy Award winner Aaron Sorkin (The Social Network, The West Wing), and directed by Tony Award winner Bartlett Sher (Fiddler On The Roof, The King and I ), this powerful drama stars Emmy Award winner and Tony Award nominee Jeff Daniels (Blackbird, The Newsroom), as lawyer Atticus Finch.
Now not only was the show a hit with the critic's, but for the week ending December 30, 2018, the show was the highest grossing American play in Broadway history. Not too bad for a show based on a book that was published almost sixty-years ago.
