New Play What The Constitution Means To Me To Open On Broadway In March

what-the-constitution-means-to-me-logo logo imageOne of my favorite classes in both junior high, and high school was American History. In fact, if I hadn't decided to pursue a career in the theatre, I might have ended up becoming a History teacher. I loved it that much. Which is why I am so excited about this new play coming to Broadway.

What The Constitution Means To Be, written by and starring Heidi Schreck, is set to begin previews at the Hayes Theatre on March 14, with opening night scheduled for March 31. So what's the show all about? Well believe it or not, it is a true story in which fifteen year old Schreck traveled the United States competing in, and winning Constitution debates in order to pay for her college education. Now that's what I call a young lady with initiative.

The show, which first premiered in 2017 at the Clubbed Thumb’s Summerworks Festival, made it 's Off- Broadway debut at the New York Theatre Workshop, followed by a critically acclaimed run at the Greenwich House Theatre. Tickets for the limited twelve week engagement are now on sale. Not only that, but we are selling it. Get your tickets to see What The Constitution Means To Me on Broadway at the Hayes Theatre. Until next time theatre fans.
