Well that was fast.That's right theatre fans. After less than eight months, Tony Award winner Hadestown has recouped it's entire $11.5 million investment. The show, which won eight 2019 Tony Awards, including Best Musical of the Year, officially opened at the Walter Kerr Theatre on April 22, 2019.About a week and a half ago, I posted a blog about how much I loved the show. Looks like I'm not the only one.It was recently announced, that the show will be embarking on a National tour set to launch in Fall 2020, with stops set for Denver, Austin, Los Angeles, and Washington D.C. among others.
By the way, for those of you who have still not seen Hadestown, you have come to the right place. We sell it. Now let me preface that a lot of the tickets for the show are sold at Premium prices. The good thing is that because the theatre is so small, even the cheaper seats are still a great view. Get your tickets to see Hadestown on Broadway at the Walter Kerr Theatre, and in 2020 at a theatre near you. Until next time theatre fans.
