Oh come on now. Are you really surprised? Let's be honest. It's probably going to be a while before we are all gathered together in a theatre, enjoying a classic play or musical. In fact just the other day, London's most prolific producer Cameron Mackintosh, gave an interview stating that he doesn't think that theatre both on Broadway, and the West End, will return until 2021. As of now, theatre in the
West End is shut down thru June 28, with
Broadway closed thru June 7. Now I don't know about you, but I would love nothing more than to be hanging out with my friends on the 4th of July, enjoying a cold beverage and a delicious meal in Times Square, followed by a Broadway or Off-Broadway show. We all would. But until that day happens, all we can do is continue to stay positive. Stay safe. And most importantly, keep looking out for each other Until next time theatre fans.
