Tony Nominations

That's right theatre fans. The nominations are in and once again leading the pack for the third time is A Gentleman's Guide To Love and Murder. I guess I will have to get around to seeing it now huh? Coming in a close second is Hedwig and the Angry Inch which I am dying to see. Let's just hope I can get my hands on a ticket. Of course like every year there were a few snubs. If you had told me at the beginning of the year that Bullets Over Broadway would not be nominated for Best Musical I would have said you were crazy. Yes I know I may be a little partial seeing as I am a huge Woody Allen fan. But come on people. It was a great show. Not that I am sure the other's were not. Other notable snubs were a slew of Hollywood's heavyweights such as recent Tony winner Denzel Washington and fellow Oscar nominees like Michelle Williams and James Franco. Poor Daniel Radcliffe. Three starring roles on Broadway and not one nomination. Oh well. His show is doing well regardless. Be sure to watch this years Tony Awards on June 8 live on CBS. Who will win  and who will lose? The only thing we know for sure is that Hugh Jackman is hosting. Now on to the nominees. Enjoy!
