What's that you say? A new musical that is not based on a hit movie or a book? Is the world coming to an end? Just kidding. Bright Star, which features a new score by Edie Brickell and book by Steve Martin, will begin previews at the Cort Theatre on Broadway on February 25, 2016, with opening night scheduled for March 24. Set in the south during the 1920's and 40's, Bright Star tells the story of literary editor Alice Murphy, who's chance encounter with a young soldier forces her to confront her past and changes both of their lives. Sounds pretty interesting don't you think? Tickets for Bright Star are now on sale. Not only that but we sell them. In fact we sell tickets to every new musical on the Great White Way. Who knew? Get your tickets to see Bright Star on Broadway at the Cort Theatre. Until next time theatre fans.

New Broadway Revival Of She Loves Me To Open In March
December 25, 1993. Care to guess what happened on that date? Well for starters it was Christmas Day. However that is not why that day is so significant. At least not to me anyway. You see on that day I saw a performance of She Loves Me on Broadway. Now considering a large portion of the show takes place during Christmas, I figured it would be the perfect way to celebrate the holiday. Thankfully I was right. Set in Budapest in the 1930's, She Loves Me takes place at Maraczek's Parffumerie, and follows the lives of it's employees as they navigate their way thru life's many trials and tribulations.
Now in case you didn't know, You've Got Mail, which is one of my favorite movies by the way, is based on She Loves Me, which in turn is based on the 1940 film The Shop Around The Corner. This new production, which is being directed by Tony nominee Scott Ellis (You Can't Take It With You, and the 1993 revival of She Loves Me) is set to begin previews on Broadway at Studio 54 on February 19, with opening night scheduled for March 17. That's one way to celebrate St. Patrick's Day I guess. As of now the show is scheduled to play thru July 10. However if we reviews are good, and I highly expect that they will, the show will probably extend. Fingers crossed.
So now that you know where and when it's playing, I'm guessing you might want to know who's starring in it right? I thought you might. So let's get too it. Leading the cast as the two unlucky in love hopefuls are Tony winner Laura Benanti (Gypsy, NBC's The Sound of Music) and television star and Theatre World winner Zachary Levi (Chuck, First Date: The Musical). Rounding out the cast of the shop's employees are Tony winners Jane Krakowski, Michael McGrath, and Tony nominee Gavin Creel, Byron Jennings, and Peter Bartlett. Sounds like a great cast don't you think? Tickets for She Loves Me are now on sale. Not only that but if you call right now you can get tickets to the show at prices that can't be beat. Get your tickets to see She Loves Me on Broadway at Studio 54. Who knows? You might just see me there. Until next time theatre fans.

Off-Broadway Fave Disaster To Transfer To Broadway In February
Now I'll be the first to admit that when it was announced that Disaster! was coming to Broadway, I was a little surprised. Yes I know. It got rave reviews when it was Off-Broadway. In fact I loved it. It was a perfect mix of camp and seventies pop music. Now is it a Broadway show? I don't know. But you know what? Who cares. If someone is willing to produce the show then more power to them.
Having written my own show I know what it's like to have big dreams. Here's wishing them a successful run on the Great White Way! Previews for the show are set to begin at the Nederlander Theatre on February 9, with opening night scheduled for March 8. Now I know what you're thinking. What is Disaster all about? Well as I'm sure you figured out the show takes place in the seventies. 1979 to be exact.
Set in Manhattan on New York's first floating casino and discotheque, Disaster is a laugh out loud spoof of such seventies cult classics like The Poseidon Adventure and Airport 1975. Sounds like a lot of fun don't you think? Tickets for the show are now on sale. Plus if you call now you can get tickets to see the show at some incredible rates. Get your tickets to see Disaster! on Broadway at the Nederlander Theatre. Until next time theatre fans.

New Broadway Revival Of Noises Off To Begin This Week
I can't tell you how excited I am to see this show. Besides being one of the best well written comedies of all time, it is also starring one of my favorite performers. Care to guess who I'm talking about? Well first of all it's a she, so that narrows it down. And secondly she is a two-time Tony Award winner. So now do you know who I'm talking about? That's right theatre fans. It is none other than Andrea Martin. Now do you see why I'm so excited?
Noises Off, which was last seen on Broadway in 2001, will begin previews at the American Airlines Theatre on December 17. Opening night is scheduled for January 14. As of now the show is only scheduled to run thru March 6. Now normally I would say that it would extend if reviews are good. However Eugene O'Neill's Long Day's Journey Into Night is scheduled to begin previews on March 31. Who knows? Maybe if it's a big hit it will transfer to another theatre. Fingers crossed.
The show, which is being directed by Tony nominee Jeremy Herrin (Wolf Hall, Parts 1 & 2), also stars Campbell Scott (Big Night), David Furr (The Rivals) Megan Hilty (Smash), Tracee Chimo (Bad Jews), Kate Jennings Grant (Guys and Dolls), and Tony nominee's Jeremy Shamos (Clybourne Park), Rob McClure (Honeymoon in Vegas), and Daniel Davis (The Nanny). Now that is what I call an all-star cast. Tickets for this laugh out loud backstage comedy are now on sale. Not only that but if you call right now you can get tickets to see the show at prices that can't be beat. Be advised that while this "Special Offer" is good thru January 17 is for select seats only and as always subject to availability. Get your tickets to see Noises Off on Broadway at the American Airlines Theatre. Who knows? Maybe I'll see you there. Until next time theatre fans.

Applause Tickets Continues Serious Commitment to Philanthropic Efforts as Member of NATB Gives Back Charity Committee and New York City Association of Hotel Concierges
NEW YORK, Dec. 10, 2015 /PRNewswire/ -- Applause Tickets, a leading source for tickets and insider knowledge of New York'sBroadway, sports and concert ticket entertainment scene, believes in the power of giving back to those less fortunate. To that end, the company maintains a strong working relationship with the National Association of Ticket Brokers Gives Back Charity Committee. The fruit of those efforts are most apparent in the time and energy Applause Tickets spends on behalf of the NATB's NFL 32 for 32 Charity Program.
"Charity has become important in my life personally and professionally," remarks Rich Gladstone, founder of Applause Tickets. "The 32 for 32 Program enables me to connect personally with colleagues across the country and witness their generosity firsthand."

Each year, Gladstone makes phone calls to fellow ticket brokers around the country, with the aim of collecting at least 32 tickets for every NFL preseason home game, including both the New York Jets and New York Giants games. Applause is responsible for gathering ticket donations for the New York teams. In 2015, ticket brokers donated 568 tickets totaling $35,096.00 in the New York football market alone.
"Ticket brokers are an incredibly generous group of people. I'm sure that the NATB is quite proud of all the members of the charity committee, as well as the participating brokers who donate thousands of tickets in all 32 NFL markets," Gladstone added. "The program has so far donated more than 18,000 NFL tickets, valued at over $1 million."
The Applause Tickets team gives all donated tickets to seriously ill children and their families staying at the five Ronald McDonald Houses in the New York City area. Gladstone makes a special effort to collect as many ticket donations as possible for both of the city's NFL teams.
In addition to its charitable work with the NATB, Applause Tickets also donates to a charitable fund established by the New York City Association of Hotel Concierges, for which it is a proud corporate member as well.
Created in 2003, the NYCAHC Charitable Fund works throughout the New York community to improve the quality of life of those in need. The NYCAHC Charitable Fund supports philanthropic efforts throughout New York City, including Broadway Cares/Equity Fights Aids, SHARE Cancer Support and Win.
According to Gladstone, "one of the main reasons we decided to become corporate members of the NYCAHC is because we clearly identify with their motto "In Service Through Friendship". Sure, as corporate members Applause Tickets looks forward to doing business with hotel concierge at many of NYC's leading hotels yet we clearly identify with similar charitable goals of the NYCAHC. I feel comfortable in saying on behalf of both of our organizations- that there is nothing more meaningful than giving back."
Gladstone and the Applause Tickets team's future plans include continuing its active participation in the NYCAHC and its charitable activities, especially in making regular monetary contributions to the charitable fund as well as lending a helping hand with the organization's charitable programs.
According to Gladstone, Applause Tickets identifies with the organization's motto, "In Service Through Friendship." He adds that, "there is nothing more meaningful than giving back."

Acclaimed Production Of The Humans To Transfer To Broadway Next Month
That's right theatre fans. One of this season's most celebrated Off-Broadway shows is heading to the Great White Way. The Humans, which takes place in the Big Apple, is set to begin previews at the Helen Hayes Theatre on January 23, 2016, with opening night set for February 18. The show, which is being directed by two-time Tony winner Joe Mantello (Wicked), is written by Stephen Karam, who received critical acclaim with such works as Sons of the Prophet and Speech and Debate.
So what exactly is The Humans all about? Well besides taking place in the greatest city in the world, the show takes place on Thanksgiving as the Pennsylvania based Blake family gather at their daughters lower Manhattan apartment. As day turns into night, the evening takes a surprising turn as a serious of unexpected noises causes the already dysfunctional family to face their deepest fears.
Sounds like a great might in the theatre don't you think? Tickets for the Broadway engagement are expected to go on sale in the coming weeks. Not only that, but we will be selling them. Get your tickets to see The Humans on Broadway at the Helen Hayes Theatre. Expect the show to be a big contender at next year's Tony Awards. Until next time theatre fans.

Blackbird Starring Michelle Williams And Jeff Daniels To Open On Broadway In 2016
What's that you say? Two of my favorite actor's starring on Broadway in a brand new play? Looks like Christmas has come early. Blackbird, which first premiered in 2005 at the Edinburgh Festival, will begin previews at the Belasco Theatre on February 5, with opening night set for March 10.
The show which is being directed by Tony winner Joe Mantello (Wicked) will play thru June 12. So now that you know who's in it, and when it plays, I'm guessing you probably want to know what it's about right? So let's get to it shall we?
Blackbird, examines the tempestuous relationship between the middle aged Ray (Daniels) and the now twenty-seven year old Una (Williams). Following a fifteen year hiatus, the two encounter each other once again, when Una confronts Ray who has been hiding under a new identity due to their illegal affair from years ago.
Well there you have it folks. Now all you have to do is buy your tickets. Luckily for you we sell it. Well that and every other new show on the Great White Way. Tickets are set to go on sale on December 14, so make sure you don't wait as I expect this is going to be one hot ticket. Get your tickets to see Blackbird on Broadway at the Belasco Theatre. Who knows? Maybe I'll see you there. Until next time theatre fans.

School Of Rock To Begin Previews Tomorrow
Let me just start off by saying, that School of Rock is one of my favorite movies. Now I'll admit that when it was first announced that they were turning this Jack Black classic into a musical, I was a little surprised. NOT! I think it's a great idea to be honest. Trust me when I say I never thought I would say that. After all I've never been a big fan of movie to musical transfers.
I guess I'm old school. Give me an original musical any day. The truth is, those are few and far between these days. That's why people look elsewhere for material I guess. Previews for this new Andrew Lloyd Webber musical are set to begin previews at the Winter Garden Theatre on November 9, with opening night scheduled for December 6.
No that's not a typo theatre fans. Mr. Webber is the composer. Now I know what you're thinking. A new rock musical by the same guy who wrote Cats and The Phantom of the Opera? Trust me. I thought it was a little strange too. Then I remembered a little show called Jesus Christ Superstar. Now it makes sense.
Tickets for the show are now available. Not only that, but if you call right now you can tickets to see the show at some incredible prices. Be advised that while this "Special Offer" is good thru December 5, it is for select seats, and as always subject to availability. Get your tickets to see School of Rock on Broadway at the Winter Garden Theatre. I can't wait. Until next time rock fans.

Tickets To Broadway Revival Of Fiddler On The Roof Are Now Available
One of my favorite theatrical experiences of all time was performing in a community theatre production of Fiddler On The Roof. Now believe it or not but I have never seen a production. That includes the most recent 2004 Broadway revival. Cut to eleven years later and Fiddler is heading back to the Great White Way. You can guarantee I won't miss this one. For starters it is being headlined by five-time Tony nominee Danny Burstein (Cabaret, Follies). Not only that but it is being directed by Tony winner Bartlett Sher, who's current production of The King and I, is still playing to packed houses eight times a week at the Vivian Beaumont Theatre on Broadway.
Now do you see why I'm so excited about seeing it? By the way for those of you looking to get tickets to the show you are in luck. We sell it. But wait. It gets better. If you give us a call right now, you can get tickets to see the show at prices that can't be beat. Be advised that while this "Special Offer" is good thru January 31, it is not good for performances from December 25 thru January 2, and as always subject to availability. The Rising Cost Of Theatre Tickets And Hamilton
Let me guess. You've never heard of Hamilton have you? NOT! It's only the most popular show in the last decade. Maybe two decades. But who's counting right? Now I've sold tickets to hundreds of show's during my tenure at Applause, and I have never seen anything like this. As a matter of fact, just the other day my colleague Todd sold tickets to Hamilton for $2900.
Now I know what you're thinking, "That must be for a small group right?' Wrong. It was for two tickets, and the $2900 was per ticket. Crazy right? I mean for that amount I could pay all my bills, including my rent, for the next two months, and still have some money left over. Oh well. I guess the saying is true. "If you've got it, spend it."
I don't know. Maybe I'm the crazy one. I just happen to think food and shelter is a little more important than sitting in a theatre for three hours. That's just me. Now since I'm in the business of selling tickets, I guess I should write a little bit about it. After all that's why you came to our website in the first place right? So let's get right to it shall we? For starters not every ticket for Hamilton is $2900 a piece. Now are they cheap? Not by a long shot.
However if you are willing to wait a little while, the tickets are a little less. By the way there are partial view seats as early as next April or May. I know. I know. Partial view? Those have to be awful right? Actually they are not as bad as the sound. In fact you only miss less than ten percent of the show. Of sure you could get a full view seat as early as this weekend. Just be prepared to pay. Oh and just so you know there are other show's out there besides Hamilton. In fact between now and the end of April there are seven new musicals set to open.
Allegiance- Opens November 8
American Psycho- Previews begin on March 24
On Your Feet- Opens November 5
School of Rock- Previews begin on November 9
Shuffle Along- Previews begin on March 14
Tuck Everlasting- Previews begin on March 31
Waitress- Previews begin on March 25
Sounds like a nice variety don't you think? Oh and just in case you are wondering we sell tickets for all of those shows. Not only that but we sell most of those shows at "Insider Rates". Who doesn't love a bargain? I know I do. Until next time theatre fans.

Get Tickets To See Tony Winner The Curious Incident Of The Dog In The Night Time For Less This Fall
Still haven't seen this year's Tony Winner for Best Play? Well what are you waiting for people? The Curious Incident Of The Dog In The Night Time, which first premiered in the West End in 2012, is one of the most exciting shows that I have seen in years. Which is why you need to see it. Not only that, but from now thru January 31, 2016 you can get tickets to see this award winning drama at some incredible rates.
Yes that's right. You have over three months to see the play that The New York Times called, " Close To Perfection, and one of the most fully immersive works ever to wallop Broadway." Sounds like a great endorsement to me. Now be advised that while this "Special Offer" is good thru January 31, it is for select seats, and as always subject to availability. Get your tickets to see The Curious Incident Of The Dog In The Night Time on Broadway at the Walter Kerr Theatre. You will love it. Until next time theatre fans.

Final Weeks To See Tony Winner Billy Porter In Kinky Boots
That's right theatre fans. You've only got a few week's to catch Billy Porter in his award winning performance as Lola in Kinky Boots. The show which won six 2013 Tony Awards, including Best Musical of the Year, continues to delight audiences of all ages eight times a week at the Al Hirschfeld Theatre on Broadway. Taking over for Mr. Porter in the lead role is Emmy winner, and stage and television star Wayne Brady.
He is scheduled to begin performances on November 21, with Mr. Porter playing his final performance the day before. But don't fret Billy Porter fans. He will be back on the Great White Way faster than you can say "Everybody Say Yeah". O.K. so maybe not that fast. He is however scheduled to open in the new musical Shuffle Along in March. I know. I know. It's still over four months away. I think you'll manage.
Now for those of you who would like tickets to see him in his final weeks, or get tickets to see Wayne Brady, you are in luck. We sell them. Not only that, but if you call right now you can get tickets to see this award winning musical at some incredible savings. Be advised that while this "Special Offer" is good thru November 29 it is not good for Friday November 28 and Saturday November 29. Get your tickets to see Kinky Boots on Broadway at the Al Hirshfeld Theatre. You will love it. Until next time theatre fans.

Super Bowl And Heisman Trophy Winner To Make Broadway Debut In Chicago
That's right theatre fans. Or should I say sport's fans. One of football's most decorated athlete's of all time is set to make his Broadway debut in 2016. Have you guessed who it is yet? No? I'll give you one more clue. The championship team he played for was the Tennessee Titans. Now do you know who it is? O.K. O.K. I won't hold you in suspense any longer.
It is none other than Ohio State University's Eddie George. He of course won the Heisman Trophy in 1995 and led the Tennessee Titans to the Super Bowl in 2000. Now before you start thinking this is some sort of publicity stunt it is not. Following his retirement in 2004, followed by a stint in commentary, he formed his own theatre company (Actors by George) in 2012.
Since that time he has starred in Matthew Lopez's The Whipping Man, as well as Suzan-Lori Parks' Topdog/Underdog, as well as countless other show's. The big question of course is, " Can he sing?" We are about to find out. Mr. George is scheduled to make his Broadway debut as lawyer Billy Flynn on January 11 and will play thru February 28. Tickets are now on sale so don't delay. Get your tickets to see Eddie George in Chicago on Broadway at the Ambassador Theatre. Until next time sport's fans.

A.R Gurney's Sylvia To Open Tonight On Broadway
Pet owners rejoice. You finally have a show that you can relate too. Now while I personally have never owned a dog, I have owned several different pet's over the years. My first was a hamster. Not the same as a dog I know, but it was still a beloved pet just the same. Now if you haven't figured out by now, Sylvia is about a dog. Well a dog and it's owner.
Of course Sylvia is not your typical dog. It talks. Not only that, but it's being played by recent Tony Award winner Annaleigh Ashford. The original production, which premiered Off-Broadway is 1995, starred Emmy Award winner Sarah Jessica Parker in the title role. This time around the role of Sylvia's owner is being played by Tony winner Matthew Broderick, who in case you didn't know is married to Ms. Parker.
But of course you knew that right? Rounding out the cast are Tony winner Julie White and Drama Desk winner Robert Sella. Sounds like a great cast to me. By the way, for those of you who are looking to get tickets, you are in luck. We sell it. Not only that, but from now thru November 22 you can get tickets to see Sylvia at prices that can't be beat. Plus because the theatre is so small, there is literally not a bad seat in the house. Sounds like a win-win to me. Get your tickets to see Sylvia on Broadway at the Cort Theatre. Until next theatre fans.

On Your Feet Is A Must See
Now I'll be the first to admit, that when it was announced last year that they were making a musical about Gloria Estefan, I was more than a little skeptical. After all for every Jersey Boys and Mamma Mia, there is All Shook Up and Good Vibrations. Well imagine my surprise when I saw the show this past Saturday and loved it. In fact I liked it even more than Jersey Boys, and that is one of my favorite shows. What an incredible night in the theatre. Now going in of course I knew most of the songs.
Therefore I knew at least the music would be good. Being a writer myself I know how the book can make or break a show. Thankfully it was solid. Yes I know it's a true story. But the truth is it could have gone either way. Besides an incredible story, the performances from everyone to the ensemble, to the leads were top notch. See? I told you I loved the show, and you will too. The only question is how to get tickets? Well good news theatre fans. We sell it. Not only that, but if you call right now you can get tickets to see the show at some incredible rates.
By the way, I saw the show from Row P of the Orchestra all the way on the side. Oh and just in case you were wondering, it was a great view. So basically what I am saying is all the seats are great. Anyway back to the tickets. From now thru December 23 you can get tickets to see On Your Feet at prices that can't be beat. Be advised that while this "Insider Price" is good for the above date it is for select seats, and as always subject to availability. Dames At Sea To Open Tonight On Broadway
That's right theatre fans. Dames It Sea is headed to the Great White Way. Not only that but it is also the first time the show has been on Broadway. Who knew? Believe it or not but the show first premiered in 1966 at a place called Caffe Cino. Let me guess. Never heard of it have you? Well as it turns out not only was it located in the heart of Greenwich Village, but it was also the birthplace of Off-Off-Broadway.
Now I know a lot about New York theatre history and even I didn't know that. So, now that you know where the show originated, I'm guessing you might want to know what the show's about right? Exactly. Well for starter's it takes place in New York City in the 1930's. Sounds good so far. A young and naïve girl arrives with dreams of becoming a star.
Now I know whet you're thinking. Kind of sounds like 42nd Street right? Trust me. I thought the same thing. As it turns out, the show is actually a parody of a series of movie's by famed director and choreographer Busby Berkeley from the 1930's. Now I get it. So there you have it folks. wait a minute. I almost forgot the most important thing.
How do you get tickets to see it? Well my friends it is easier than you might think. Not only that but if you call right no you can get tickets to see the show at some incredible savings. Be advised that while this "Special Offer" is good thru November 13, it is for select seats, and as always subject to availability. Daniel Craig To Star In Othello
That's right theatre fans. Everyone's favorite James Bond is headed back to the New York stage. Only this time, it will not be on the Great White Way. Daniel Craig, who was last seen on Broadway in Betrayal, will star as Iago in Othello at the New York Theatre Workshop.
Starring along side him in the title role is "Selma" star David Oyelow. Now before you all get too excited, the show is not scheduled to open until Fall 2016. That's a year away for those of you who are keeping count. Directing this classic Shakespearean masterpiece is recent Tony Award winner Sam Gold (Fun Home). As of now tickets are not on sale, but be assured that when they do we will be selling them. Until next time theatre fans.

Get Tickets To See King Charles III On Broadway
Winner of the this year's Olivier Award for Best New Play is King Charles III. The show, which first premiered at the Almeida Theatre in London in April 2014, began previews at the Music Box Theatre on October 10, with opening night set for November 1. As of now the show is scheduled to close on January 31. Now if reviews are good I would not be surprised if it extends.
The only problem is that Shuffle Along has booked the theatre already. Oh well. I guess they'll just have to find another theatre. May I suggest the Booth Theatre which just happens to be right across the street? Just a thought. By the way, for those of you who are looking to purchase tickets you are in luck. We sell it. In fact we sell every new play on Broadway.
Not only that but if you call right now we can you tickets to see King Charles III at some incredible savings. Misery To Begin Previews Next Week
I can't tell you how excited I am about this show. First of all Misery is one of my favorite movies. Not only that, but it is starring Emmy winner and Tony nominee Laurie Metcalf. Oh and of course a little known actor by the name of Bruce Willis. You've heard of him right? Of course you have. Previews for the Stephen King thriller are set to begin at the Broadhurst Theatre on October 22, with opening night scheduled for November 15. As of now the show is set to close on February 14. That means you've got less than four months to see what is sure to be one exciting night in the theatre. Get your tickets to see Misery on Broadway at the Broadhurst Theatre. Who knows? Maybe I'll see you there. Until next time theatre fans.

America's Longest Running Play To Make It's New York Debut This Fall
That's right theatre fans. Sheer Madness is headed to the Big Apple. What's that you say? You've never heard of it? Well believe it or not, but it's actually been playing in Boston for over thirty-five years. Not only that, but the Washington D.C. production just recently celebrated it's twenty-eighth year at the Kennedy Center for the Performing Arts.
Now here we are in 2015 and Sheer Madness is ready to take New York by storm. Performances are set to begin Off-Broadway at New World Stages on October 22, with opening night scheduled for November 11. So now that you know when and where it's playing, I'm guessing you probably want to know what it's about right?
Well for starters, it takes place in a unisex hair salon in the city in which it plays. Chaos ensues when the building's landlady is suddenly murdered. Then throughout the evening the audience become participants in the show by questioning the actor's as they attempt to solve the crime. Because of this, the ending for each performance is different as the audience gets to choose who is guilty. Sound's like fun to me. Tickets for the show are now on sale so don't delay. Get your tickets to see Sheer Madness at New World Stages. Until next time theatre fans.

Broadway Revival Of Fiddler On The Roof Is Now On Sale
That's right theatre fans. One of Broadway's most beloved shows of all time is now available for purchase, and at prices that can't be beat. Fiddler on the Roof, which believe it or not premiered on Broadway over fifty years ago, is set to begin previews at the Broadway Theatre on November 20. Opening night is for December 20. This new production, which is being directed by Tony winner Bartlett Sher, (South Pacific, The King and I), will star Tony nominee and Broadway favorite Danny Burstein. Playing his long suffering wife is fellow Tony nominee Jessica Hecht ( A View From The Bridge, Friends).
I have been a huge fan of both Mr. Burstein's and Ms. Hecht's work over the years, so I have no doubt that they are going to be excellent in this new revival. Now as I was saying before, tickets for the show are now on sale, and at some amazing prices. Be advised that while this "Insider Price" is good thru February 28 it is not good for performances beginning on December 25 thru January 2, and as always subject to availability. Get your tickets to see Fiddler On The Roof at the Broadway Theatre. Expect it to be a big contender at next year's Tony Awards. Until next time theatre fans.

Spring Awakening Reviews
Well the reviews are in and as expected they are pretty good I have to say. Spring Awakening, which opened last night at the Brooks Atkinson Theatre, is back on the Great White Way for the first time since it's award winning run ended in January 2009. Now when it was first announced that is was coming back, I like most thought it was too soon. Well I am happy to say that I was wrong. Here's hoping this new production is just as successful.
As of now the show is only scheduled to run thru January 24, but with reviews like these I think they might want to consider extending it's run. The only problem is that they will have to move to another theatre as the show Waitress has already booked the Brooks Atkinson. By the way for those of you who want tickets to see the show you are in luck. We sell it. In fact we sell every show both on and Off Broadway. Now on to the reviews.

Irish Dance Sensation Michael Flatley To Make Broadway Debut This Fall
That's right. Michael Flatley is coming to the Great White Way. Now I know what you're thinking. Riverdance right? No. It's actually a brand new show called Lord Of the Dance: Dangerous Games. I know. I know. Didn't he also have a show called Lord of the Dance? Yes he did. In fact, various versions of the show ran throughout the world from 1996-2001. This new version will begin previews at the Lyric Theatre on November 7 and continue thru January 3. Opening night is scheduled for November 10.
It was also announced that Mr. Flatley, who will also serve us the show's director, will make an appearance at the end of each evening performance, except for the evenings of November 18,19 and December 4 and 5. Oh and one more thing. He will not be doing matinee's as well. I wish I had that schedule. Tickets for the show are not yet on sale, but be guaranteed that when they do, we will be selling them.
Check back here in a few weeks for more details. Get your tickets to see Michael Flatley in Lord of the Dance: Dangerous Games on Broadway at the Lyric Theatre. Oh and just in case you need another reason to see the show, this will mark Mr. Flatley's final production as a performer. Until next time dance fans.
