Now unfortunately I never got the chance to see the show during it's original production. I have however read the play many times, and saw the 1993 film which starred Stockard Channing in her Oscar nominated performance. Now here we are all these years later and the show is set to return to the Great White Way. I for one can't wait to see it. Now for those of you that are not familiar with the play, it takes place in New York City at the home of art dealer Flan Kittredge and his wife Ouisa.
One evening they are visited by a young man by the name of Paul, who claims to have not only been injured from an attempted mugging, but is also a fellow classmate of their children at Harvard University. Not only that but he is also the son of Academy Award winner Sidney Poitier. All of which turns out not to be true.
The Kittredge's soon find out that they are not the only one of their friend's to fall for this young con artist. Now I could tell you more. But why ruin it for you? I guess you'll just have to see the show to find out how it all turns out. Thankfully you won't have to wait to long. Tickets for the show are now on sale. Not only that but we are selling them. Get your tickets to see Six Degrees Of Separation on Broadway at the Ethel Barrymore Theatre. Who knows? You might just see me there. Until next time theatre fans.
