Can it be true? Has the big day finally arrived? Well it has theatre fans. Miss Desmond is ready for her close up once again. Sunset Boulevard, which won seven 1995 Tony Awards, including Best Musical of the Year, returns to the Broadway stage tonight at the historic Palace Theatre. Oh and did I mention that three-time Tony winner Glenn Close is recreating her role as fading movie star Norma Desmond? Well she is. The show which is scheduled to play a limited engagement thru May 28, will officially open on February 9.
Now that is one short preview period my friends. Let's hope they are ready. Fingers crossed. Oh and one more thing. It is now possible to get tickets to see this award winning musical at some incredible prices. Be advised that while this "Special Offer" is good thru March 9, it is for select seats, and as always subject to availability.
