A Day In The Life Of A Ticket Broker

Image result for dollar sign logoHere I sit on a very cool Labor Day trying to figure out what to write about. Oh sure I guess I could write about some of Broadway's hottest shows like Hamilton or Dear Evan Hansen. Oh and don't forget Hello Dolly, starring the one and only Bette Midler.

No thank you. Or I suppose I could write about the upcoming Fall season. Been there. Done that. No I think instead I will write about something that has been on my mind for quite a while now.  Now I've been doing this for a long time. Almost nineteen years. Therefore I have seen and done it all.

The truth is that there are hundreds and hundreds of ticket companies out there. We just happen to be one of them. My problem is with the rising cost of theatre tickets. Yes I know that is not news. After all prices have continued to rise year after year. The truth is most people, myself included, don't have hundreds and hundreds of dollars to spend on theatre tickets.

I mean some tickets cost as much as my rent. Now I know what you're thinking? What if I had lot's and lot's of money? Then would I spend the big bucks on the hot shows? I'm not going to lie. I would be very tempted. Very. But until that day happens I will continue to go to the theatre without spending an arm and a leg. Oh and just in case you are wondering, it is possible to go to the theatre and not have to break the bank. You just have to do a little shopping around. It's your money after all.
