I can't tell you how excited I am to see this show. Not only is Moulin Rouge one of my favorite movies of all time, but the shows director, Tony Award nominee Alex Timbers (Beetlejuice, Peter and the Starcatcher) is one of my favorite director's.The show, which is based on the award winning 2001 film, premiered in July 2018 at the Colonial Theatre in Boston, where it won seven awards, including Best Musical.
With a book by Tony Award winner John Logan (Red), Moulin Rouge stars Tony Award winner Karen Olivo, Aaron Tveit, Tony Award nominee Danny Burnstein, Tony Award nominee Sahr Ngaujah, and Tam Mutu.
