Slava's Snowshow To Return To Broadway This November

Working in the industry that I am in, we often get invited to a majority of the new shows. That way when people call us wanting to know what we think about the show, we can give them our honest opinion.Which brings me to today's blog. In December 2008, our staff was invited to a new show called Slava's Snowshow.

Now at the time, all I knew about the show was that it had premiered in Moscow in 1993, prior to a worldwide tour, including a very successful production Off-Broadway, that played for over a thousand performances. It also won the 1998 Olivier Award for Best Entertainment, the 2005 Drama Desk Award for Unique Theatrical Experience, and was nominated in 2009 for Best Special Theatrical Event, losing to EGOT winner Liza Minnelli.

Created and staged by Slava Polunin, who has been called one of the world's greatest clowns, Slava's Snowshow will begin previews at the Stephen Sondheim Theatre on November 11, and play thru January 5.Now for those of you who want tickets to see the show, you are in luck.
