This is by far the best news that I have heard all week. In The Heights,which is currently my favorite show on Broadway is going to be made into a major motion picture courtesy of Universal Pictures. It was also announced that it's writer and star Tony winner Lin-Manuel Miranda will reprise his role as Usnavi in the movie musical. As of now now shooting or release date has been set but with the current Broadway production riding a wave of success I say they should strike now while the iron is hot.
