Chicago The Musical Celebrates Anniversary

Has it really been fifteen years since Chicago made it's triumphant return to Broadway? Now while I loved the show when I saw it back in 1997 I never expected to still be talking about it all these years later. Yet here we are in 2011 and Chicago remains one of Broadway's most popular shows. In fact not only is it Broadway's longest running revival in history but it currently ranks number four in the all time list as well as being the longest running American musical in history. It's kind of amazing when you consider that the original production ran a little over two years and was completely overshadowed by a little show called A Chorus Line which ran for fifteen years. Interesting note the recent revival of that show ran for less than a year and a half. Although it did make back it's entire investment which we all know is what counts anyway. By the way for those of you who still haven't seen this Tony winning musical there is no better time than right now. Good seats are available for all performances thru January 1, 2012. Not only but if you call now you can see it for below face value. Who doesn't love a bargain? Get your tickets to see Chicago on Broadway. You will love it.
