Broadway Bound War Paint Is Now On Sale

That's right theatre fans. One of Broadway's most highly anticipated shows is now on sale. War Paint, which stars two-time Tony winners Christine Ebersole and Patti Lupone, will begin previews at the Nederlander Theatre on March 7, 2017, with opening night scheduled for April 6. The show which premiered at the Goodman Theatre in Chicago, broke box office records when it played there this past Summer.

So what exactly is the show all about? Well for starters the new musical is based on the documentary The Powder and Glory, by Ann Carol Grossman and Arnie Reisman. Wait a minute. A new musical based on a movie? What will they think of next? Just kidding. I am actually looking forward to seeing it. In fact I recently wrote a blog about the show.
