As I was gathering research for this blog, I was surprised to find out that Academy Award winner Cuba Gooding Jr. has been on Broadway before. In fact, he made his Broadway debut in 2013 in The Trip To Bountiful, starring Vanessa Williams and Cicely Tyson who won the Tony Award for Best Actress of the Year.Mr. Gooding, who won an Academy Award in 1997 for his performance in Jerry Maguire, played a previous engagement as Billy Flynn in the London production. As of now, he is scheduled to begin previews at the Ambassador Theatre on October 6 thru November 18. Get your tickets to see Cuba Gooding Jr. in Chicago on Broadway at the Ambassador Theatre.
