Revival Production of Carousel to Close on Broadway

On September 16th, the Broadway revival of Rodger's and Hammerstein's Carousel is set to close at the Imperial Theatre.

At the time of closing, Carousel will have played  47 previews, and 181 regular performances.

Jessie Mueller and Joshua Henry are the stars of the show, who both earned Tony Nominations for their performances.

In June, supporting actor Lindsay Mendez won a Tony Award for her performance as Carrie Pipperidge. Choreographer Justin Peck also won a Tony Award.

Set in a small New England town, Carousel follows the tragic romance between a troubled carnival worker (Henry) and the young woman (Mueller) who gives up everything for him.

Anyone with tickets after September 16th can get a full refund on their tickets.
