Now this is what I call exciting news theatre fans. It was just announced, that Academy Award nominee, and two-time Emmy Award winner Greg Kinnear, will be making his Broadway debut in To Kill A Mockingbird. He replaces fellow Academy Award nominee Ed Harris, who will play his final performance on April 19.Based on the Pulitzer Prize winning novel by Harper Lee, and adapted by Academy Award winner Aaron Sorkin, To Kill a Mockingbird opened at the Shubert Theatre on December 13, 2018, where it continues to play to packed houses eight times a week.
This announcement comes one night before the show's historic performance at Madison Square Garden, where it will play to an audience of eighteen thousand New York City school kids. This one night event will also be the largest single performance of a theatrical work in history.
Tickets for the award winning production are now on sale thru September 6, 2020. Not only that, but we are selling it.
