Pre-Broadway Engagement Of The Devil Wears Prada To Open In Chicago Next Year

Let me just start off by saying that I have never see The Devil Wears Prada. Don't get me wrong. I love Meryl Streep. I even kind of like Anne Hathaway. But who cares what I think?

After all the movie was a huge hit grossing over three hundred and fifty million dollars at the box office.

The show, which is based on Lauren Weisberger's 2003 novel, as well as the 2006 film, is set to begin performances on July 14, 2020 at the James M. Nederlander Theatre in Chicago.

Directed by Tony Award winner Anna D. Shapiro (August: Osage County), The Devil Wears Prada features music by Tony Award winner Sir Elton John (The Lion King), lyrics by Shania Taub, and a book by Paul Rudnick (Jeffrey).
