What's that? Two Broadway plays opening in the same week? What is this April? Last night, marked the Broadway premier of Grand Horizons.
Written by Bess Wohl, and directed by Tony Award nominee and Drama Desk winner Leigh Silverman, Grand Horizons stars Tony and Emmy winner Jane Alexander and Academy Award nominee and Emmy Award winner James Cromwell as Nancy and Bill, who have been married for fifty years.
As they settle into their new home, Nancy unexpectedly walks out, leaving their sons Brian and Ben to pick up the pieces of their once happy family. Rounding out the cast are Michael Urie (Torch Song) and Ben McKenzie (Gotham) as the two bothers, as well as Tony Award winner Priscilla Lopez, Ashley Park, and Maulik Pancholy.
